  • I have an 02 ws6 six speed I love it

  • trans ams after 2nd generation suck ...they fucked it up

  • Love this I have a 92 5 speed and my dad used to have a MSE 82 4 speed but my dad let it go (BIG MISTAKE) but now he has himself a 84 auto wish it was standard

  • if anyones a a-team fan hannibal smith drove the 1st car of 3rd gen in an episode and it was a cool episode

  • I have a 91 formula and I love everything about my 91

  • 1:08 bandit lol

  • I freakin love firebirds! I have a 90 myself:) onlything I can complain year wise is from 91 to 95 the bumpers look goofy everything else looks sharp just bumper not my fav :/. But hey... Still love em;)

  • Poor

    Old

    N-word

    Thinks

    Its

    A

    Cadillac

  • one of my personal favorites out of all is the gold/bronze one at, 0:12

  • Guess you can see by my icon that the 70 / 1/2 to 73 is my favorite. My 1972 T/A is a 455 super duty, and without a doubt the sexiest looking muscle car of all time ( also one of the fastest). However nice vid.

  • @varflane i bet my 78 would stomp you ha, only because it has a buick 468, 308 solid cam steel crank stiffer springs a edlebrock performer intake solid lifters pop up pistons and a nice little 1407 carb lol

  • i love trans am's but that song is awful lol.

  • the sexiest car ever made!

  • 1:15, '78 T/A, best model year

  • Years 90 and up looked ugly I fucking love the 89 and under

  • i have a 83' trans am, i love the fucking thing! trans am for ever!<3

  • umm the second pic for the 68 is a 67 agian 68 has no butteryfly window and blikers were moved

  • ahh and i hate to be that guy but the 73' isnt a 73, looks like a 70-71 firebird that was cloned, the grille is white (needs to be black), the decal trim and blue interior was not optional and why the hell are the rims white... looks gay.

  • the 68' is still a 67, small differences, single window from the windshield to the quarter panels window, and different side markers on the quarter panels. :)

  • Nice looking car but the later models got really ugly.

  • 2 people cant catch up to the trans am

  • TRANS AM!!!!!!!!!

  • Nice compilation! Love Firebirds/Trans Ams. On the '68 year - another small difference is the front turn signal lenses, they moved out to the fender corner at the bottom from inside the cutouts under the bumper. Would love to own a '68 some day, my favorite year.

  • i like the '77 the best when the put the double headlights. and man i love the white with the blue. i want one of those one day

  • People have offered to buy Pontiac from GM and GM refused so Pontiac may re-open with the trans am, I hope they take the car in a new direction instead of being a 2010 camaro with a body kit!

  • @XshowbizzcodgamerX Well for me that would be a Supra targa top down and a hot chick next to me

  • 93'-97' worst year for the T/A

  • @zanrath12345 the problem was they used that crappy LT1, then they switched to the LS1 in 98'-02' and there is no comparison!

  • @zanrath12345 i would say from 82-92 would be the worst years for the Trans Am. and the ugliest.

  • @oilerman313131 Thats your opinion troll.. and seriously who give a shit about a troll opinion

  • @younglionz wtf do you mean troll? its my opinion that they are the ugly years. if you dont like that then you can go fuck yourself. and you know what? they are the worst years for the trans am. the interior looks like shit, they are slow as fuck, and ugly as fuck. im guessing you have one. and yes i love trans am's. i have three of them a 2000 a 74 455 and a 71 455. so dont jump all over my opinion bitch.

  • -@oilerman313131 the 79-81 had an ugly ass front end lol, i love my 78 but for a bit more power i threw ina buick 455 bored .40 over and few more engine mods lol

  • @myTAsmokesRicers yeah they do have an ugly front and rear end too lol. but i think the ugliest year would be the 1992 model.

  • @zanrath12345 agreed

  • honestly...trans am's are sweet as fuck.

in my opinion they're the best muscle cars ever made

  • I just beat a 70 today =/ he took off wayyyy before me n i walked him down and flew past him

  • 2nd and 3rd gen are fat ass ugly

  • My dad has a grey 76' Trans am with the Eagle on the hood. Santa, you know what I want for Christmas!

  • I love Trans Ams. When I was in high school in the 80s a couple of the 'cool kids' bad boy types had one and I used to drool over them. I think seeing Smokey and the Bandit fueled my love for them too. They just look so awesome. It was my dream car as a 14-17 year old. never did get one though.

  • i wish pontiac would just only make the gto and the trans am thats all i want. so long as the gto looks like the classic one and the trans am at least resembles the 3rd generation.

  • 2nd generation is my favorite. 4th gen. bleah.

  • 3rd. Generation ! KNIGHT RIDER Rules !!! I Love this Car !!!

  • Very nice video, just got a 2000 TA to go along with my 77, and 84. I want to paint scheme to match eachother, what do you think ?

  • 2:10 :D

  • GM sucks for killing pontiac

  • BRING THE TRANS AM BACK!!! the world would be a better place if everyone owned a Trans Am.

  • That white notch-back was stunning

  • 2:22 the hitcher

  • What song is that man? I have an 87 formula. I'd love to crank that out in front of a bunch of rice burners. Just don't tell them mines an import also.

  • @xcloudxstrife88 The song it called "Trans Am" By Sammy Hagar

  • @BlackTransAmdude The 68' has a rear side maarker light on the quarterpanels. it looks like a pontiac symbol but it lights up. the 68' also has 1 piece of glass for the door instead of two. if you google it you'll probably notice it

  • @Ug0tAragingClu3 Holy crap thanks a lot i never noticed those little details till now. i guess we all learn something new everyday

  • I'm not tryin to troll or anything, but you left out a 68'. there's two 67's at the beginning, not that it matters but nice to look out for

  • @Ug0tAragingClu3 Just wanna know because everyone keeps telling me that i left out the 68' model but what distinguishes the 1967 and 1968 model? I thought they were pretty identical

  • @BlackTransAmdude I owned a 68 Bird, they have no wing vents, or little side windows next to the side mirrors, and do have wrap around front turn signals, which make the lower valence panels diff also. Only the 68 had Pontiac symbol marker lights on the quarter panels. 69 went to the 1st gen firebird symbol on the quarters.

  • I wonder if gm didnt kill pontiac would they brought the firebird / trans am back. Wouldve been cool to see.

  • @Decadillac22 well they did not kill pontiac they are still a company they are no longer shipping cars to america they do still produce in australia and they do make a new firebird it just called the firebreather , a camaro with heavy body modification.

  • i have a 94 25th anniversary, but someone swapped the interior with regular seats....anybody know of 25th anniversary seats or covers i could buy?

  • Great video man, thanks for the upload and sharing. :)

  • the 2011 ones r too good to be true.......

  • my dads got that exact one at 1:09....one of his 15 classics and he sed he'll let me drive it through out highschool and college

  • HOLY SEXY!!!!!!!

  • I own a 92 Firebird with the sport package and recently wrecked it, I am looking for the same body kit as I had before (Shown here: 2:49) Does anyone know where I can buy this kit?

  • @JakeJumpsHigh Not really a body kit just your standard 1991-1992 "Trans AM" (not Firebird) ground effects

  • Woo hoo! I used this song for the pics I took at the autoshow this year. You should check it out!! Tons of great firebird pics, including KITT from Nightrider :)!

  • @chromachan Sure thing! i will

  • I dont like the fourth generation cars. They remind me of japanese cars for some reason.

  • I'd kill to have a 78.

  • 3:26 <3 First Car :P

  • If i find the ugly little dumb fuck who disliked this video, I'm beating the shit out of him.

  • one time i was at a gas station and there was a guy with a Firebird i told him to do a burnout so he did and there was bunch of smoke and some fat guy got out of his little geo and just stared ahahhahaha

  • i drive a 93 with only 38k miles on it. needs minor engine work though

  • i could see my ass doing a burn out in a 2000 trans am

  • just bought a trans am yesterday :)

  • amazing cars,1st and 2nd gen <3

  • Hey...you forgot my car. The Mid 90s Ws6 :-(

  • @cubx1979 He covered every year. The mid-90's was the 4th Gen. 1993-2002 (@3:00). WS6 was just an optional performance package.

  • my dad is giving me his 1999 gta firebird trans am for my first car!!!!!!!!!

  • @dudewhoisnotfunny fucking idiot. they stopped making gta trans ams in 1992, just another spoiled kid who doesn't know a thing. go buy your own car, you'll wreck the trans am

  • @xmikerinehartx 1991 i made an error my bad

  • I want a 79 or 82 so bad!!!

  • @DaBoogie049 The best ones ever built! Good taste, dude!

  • This is the best car in the whole freaking world. I got a 78. Just like at 1:20. Martinique blue. GO CHRISTINE GO!!!!!!

  • @XshowbizzcodgamerX a 1979 trans am.

  • My dad has a red 95 thing is fucking beast!! Not a single part in the engine is stock

  • I've finally taken the initiative to restore my granpa's 1969 350cc V8 Firebird convertible. All original parts, with all optional accessories. Any good hints/parts/etc? (I'm only 17, so cash flow is limited)

  • BEST FU***NG CAR EVER!!!!!! ITS A CLASSIC!!! WIL BE FOREVER!!!

  • fuck yeah! song called " trans am highway wonderland "

  • I'm 16 (almost 17) and I'm trying to get an 84 Firebird for my first car! PS what is this song called and who is it buy? I need to blast this when I drive in my Trans Am!

  • @Link33399 The song is called Trans Am (Highway Wonderland) by Sammy Hagar

  • @BlackTransAmdude Thanks dude!

  • Comment removed

  • @Link33399 Im 16 and i have a 1984 firebird.

  • @Link33399 thats nice man.... im 17 and my first car is a 1978 trans am just like the one in 1:20 ..... as soon i completes 18 i will post some videos of mine..... CANT WAIT!!!!!!! i bought from ebay for 7K$..... GOOD LUCK WITH YOURS...

  • Yould should have had to comment each picture as the slides are quite much out of sync with the years. Also, your '68 Bird isn't a '68, but an earlier one (front side marker lights).

  • 1970-1975 jizz jizz jizz jizz and jizz

  • im drive firebird trans gta 1986 on forza motorsport3 its good feeling :D

  • I just got a 84 firebird for my first car. All I can say is the ladies love it.

  • pussy magnets

  • Hell yeah!!! I got a original base 1986 third gen, took out the v6 2.8 and replaced it with a 5.7 v8. Now I'm buying a 1989 2.8 and gonna do the same.

  • its all bout the 4th an the 1st gen.

  • Um.. the trans ams and camaros.. at least the later years where made in Canada. After production stopped, the plant was torn down.

  • all looking sweet but i luv 4th gen ones

  • Great video, the Firebird is deffinitely one of the all time best cars aver made. I saw a few cars here & there that were out of order, and I didn't see a '68... Anyway, I got a '72 matching numbers Formula 400 with a 4 speed and factory air, and a '96 Trans Am WS6

  • Got a 1975 Pontiac Firebird Formula 400 4 speed.....didn't see one of those.

  • Awesome video man, thanks so much for shareing!

  • 1978-ultimate & Bandit you made a mistake in "70's".

  • What they made it way better

  • 2nd generation man. They ruined that fucking car

  • 3rd generaion!!!!!!!

  • Third gen I love you!!! I have a 88 with a 305 and a 5 speed :) I want to get a 383 and get the t56 6 speed transmission and 12 bolt rear =^.^= Next year I'll start with the transmission

  • it's a really good video but the song kinda sucks.

  • pontiac was greater than chevy

  • 1:14 thats my favourite

  • Montrose?

  • Mine looks exactly like the one at 2:16 but with the real, red, honeycomb shape (i think it is) rims

  • @LastTransAm2002 what burn out?

  • RIP

  • im getting a red 1986 firebird for my first car, real nice, only like 78k miles on it, im 17, 18 in a week, and ive wanted a firebird for the past 11 years of my life =D i cant wait to be driving it. ill post pics of it as a video response once i have it =D.

  • @everythingmac123 Well that's cool to hear. Wish you luck with that car and go tear some ass with it! haha oh and happy early birthday..

  • @everythingmac123 good choice! gotta love the f-birds , greets from germany,

  • @everythingmac123 i have a 1999 firebird and im only 15 sell you that lol i dont like it.

  • @maalketh34 i bet its ugly

  • @everythingmac123 i just picked myself up a 84 bird with 59k miles on it. im just as excited as you are, glad to see another respectful 3rd gen enthusiast, im 16. keep the wheels turnin!

  • @st7ng sick dude! i dont officially have the firebird yet, but ill hopefully have it come this spring. and then hopefully by 2014ish im going to look into getting an 89 trans am gta, and im not sure what id do with the 86 when that comes, but im definetly not selling it.

  • @everythingmac123 same, no matter what happens in life, im not selling my firebird. even though i can sell it and get a corvette of that era, its not worth the emotional bond a man has with his 3rd gen, also there is not many 3rd gens in good condition anymore. and sweet, thats the perfect time to pick it up, i got mine at the end of summer, paid $2600, with a brand new paint job (original color) in near mint condition, gotta love it

  • @st7ng yeah i know what you mean, and especially with pontiac already being out of business and them already being near classic cars, years from now, when our generation is in our 50-60s, these beautiful firebirds will most likely be worth a LOT of money, and even then i still wont give it up.

  • @everythingmac123 ive got a red 92, if all my plans go right im getting a 6.6 litre out of 79 trans am, i just need to pay my neighbor for a new bumper and all be on my way with that =s

  • @everythingmac123

No way, I'm going to be buying an 80's trans am for my first car as well. Always wanted one. Workin hard and savin money.

  • @everythingmac123 Please Please don't ruin the car... Use stupidity for some beater. I had a 94 probe that i ended up totaling and that is ok with me. But I am always careful with my 90 trans am.

  • @everythingmac123

well im 19 and i sold my 1990 camaro rs because the title was un obtainable so this weekend im buying an 85 firebird.

  • cool vid, just a small note but the convertible you posted for 93 can't be a 93 since the 'vert didn't come out till 94.

  • @pdennis93 i think there where 2 or 3 convertibles on the 89 edition

  • I had a 79 camaro and sold it cause it was to young now i have a 67 firebird and I love it.

  • The 'Birds are a bit date confused at the beginning. '67, '67, '69, '71 or '72, '71-'72, then 2 '73s (where is a '68 and a '70 example?) then they get chronological into the Chevyed-era and into oblivion. Nothing is more exciting as a Pontiac high compression/ low end torque V8! I once drove my friend's '73 SD455 and he leaned over and said "Are you enjoying yourself?" " Yeah, she handles nice." "You're over 100 mph!" The car wasn't even starting to breathe hard!

  • @bfmcarparts It's funny you mentioned low compression... Pontiac was a huge horsepower force back in the 70's with a dismal 8.5:1 C/R When all the other manufactures desided to give up and work on gas milege, Pontiac shunned the trend and built the Bad-Ass SD Trans-am!!!

They were still producing 400hp (non advertised) in the 73 SD-455. Imagine what could have been done with a good 11:1 compression and a huge cam... About 500hp! And maybe still getting 15mpg!???!! It could've happened!?

  • @poopdogsays

500 hp with vintage parts? Maybe, but you'll be breaking rare/costly parts. 15mpg? Not without computer fuel management and overdrive. Many SDs were high optioned rides (my friend's 73 had all but 3) & they weigh nearly 2 tons. Everyone goes with modern crate motors because of the easy hp produced. 350-400 gross hp from a 400-428 traditional Pontiac, is a reliable motor . A "bad ass" motor could also be a 'pain in the ass' unreliable motor to live with. Just an opinion.

  • 1:15 got the samething

  • hey im 14 and i cant wait till nxt year gettin a trans am im hopn for 77 to a 84 any one between those years it wont be stock ima tell u that me and my father work on cars and have a 350 at his job and gonna swap that in.

  • @BeaverWarriorOTK1 Hey good to know younger people still know about good cars when I was 14-15 (Now 17) I saved my dad from getting rid of the 87' GTA Trans Am now here I am maintaining and keep her on the road. but gas is keeping me from driving it everyday so maybe like twice or 3 times a week i drive mine and loving every minute of it!

  • @BlackTransAmdude nice and yea gas is a bbig thing but i think ill be able to afford to drive everyday i can see now goin to skool lol.................. senior year burnouts lol

  • @BeaverWarriorOTK1 hehe senior year burnouts FTW!

  • Im 15 right now. Hopefully when im 16 and 1/2 i can get a 1974 trans am. Its my favorite year.

  • @Xyzd95 Hope you do man. If your 16 and your driving a 74' Trans Am woah man you get alotta looks haha Experience :) especially you pull up in front of your high school lol

  • That blue '68 looks almost identical to mine! I don't have the exhaust tips or wing.

    Awesome Sammy tune!

  • I had a 78 T/A and traded it in for an new 87 custom from factory. It came without the chicken, but I had to have the chicken, along with a few other decals that the car did not have. Long live the T/A

  • 1:43 !!!! thats my car!!! without the bird and the 301 turbo... the 301 turbo died out on me and I had to put a 350 chevy in it... Yes, I know i should have put a 350p in it but the price outweighed it by soo much. the bird runs on the hood runs about 300 and i don't have that money for it but hey, at least I have a running car now :).

  • @sniped101 Running and stylin right now that's good enough for now ;) later on just do what you can.

  • @BlackTransAmdude I'm wondering what should I do later on with my car... what would you do?

  • @sniped101 Well try to get all the mechanicals working and make sure it's reliable cause what good is a car if it'll die on you so get it reliable and working perfectly. Then begins the modifying brakes, Suspension, and horsepower in that order (Stop turn GO). After that get it back to showroom quality beautify it and get those little details in so eventually when the car is perfect it's gonna be worth a lot.

  • Q chingon video mi padre tenia un trans am 79 el bandido y ahora yo tengo un firebird 97 q buenos carros lo mejor de los muscle cars.....

  • Thanks for posting- nice to see the models through the years. I love mine. I hope GM has enough sense to release a 50th anniversary edition no matter the price tag.

  • I fucking love my firebird!

  • my dad has a first generation

  • wicked sweet trans am best period

  • 2:23 Thats a fuckn beauty.!!!!!

  • @Thrash120994 that one was mine. thank you

  • man i hope my dad gives me his 87 trans am when i am 16 i hope so much

  • @bubba052798 Do something to show you love that car give it a wash N wax for him appreciate the car.

  • I love Firebird/Formula/Trans AMs. I have a 2000 TA Convertible, but I find the 93-97 to be the ugliest ever made. . .

  • too bad...never going to be a 5th gen :(

  • nice vid man
