@guitarplayerforu Retard basically is a command to retard (Bring back the Throttles) to the Idle Position. This is usually initiated at 10ft with reference to the GPWS ( Radio Altimeter), as shown in this video. Rotate is a word that is used during take-off where the nose of the aircraft is brought up to the Climb Flight Path Angle. In other words, allow the aircraft to become airborne. Hope this helps :)
