They are using music macro method, because the Vatican can go eight hard music and purification trouble. But times have changed, we should carry forward the Buddhist way of alternative it!

In a way its good share such traditional Chinese music with the world, however there is a danger of as said before commercialisation and also that it may appear just a cultural curiosity . Perhaps though such performances can still preserve Chinese Buddhism in the modern world. I always feel sad when i talk to modern chinese people and they no so little of their ancient culture. @acrovis It is Mahayana Buddhism, they are different precepts than Theravada.

@Omega231984 These are not Tibetan Buddhists. The robes aren't like Tibetan Buddhist robes, even. These are Chinese Buddhists monastics.
