she was my FRIEND. I remember the night she pumped against those kids to become "The Impersonator." Her first time coming out in drags.we learned to vogue together, we would take the train back to harlem from the club and I would walk her to her building to make sure she got there safe. In and out of drag, she was quiet, kind, loving, daring, fun and she lived to laugh.
