  • 94 was a great year! Probably one of the best years ever in rap. This song and album came out, nas dropped illmatic, common came out with the resurrection album, biggie dropped his album late 94 or early 95, keith murray dropped his debut album and on and on. Everything came together that year. The MC's were coming of age in their early 20s, the beats were getting better, rap was exploding internationally and mc's were starting to invent new styles every day. Unbelievable ERA! LONG LIVE THE 90's

  • @Dundrie I really know what you mean men! It takes you to an other place, where you can chill out and forget your troubles for a moment!

  • @Dundrie WORDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD

  • this track and "Escapism" of The Main Ingredient album were my favorite cuts! CL's butta flows and PR's soulful, ingenious production made them such an awesome duo. Pete Rock, hands down one top 10, nah eff that! Top 5 best hip-hop producers of all-time!

  • @fahgod true that man

  • @fahgod I totally agree with you bro, in my opinion there are only two producers that are on Pete Rock's level and they are: Marley Marl & Dr. Dre. In one interview Kanye West said that he's a better producer than Pete Rock, after I heard that I thought of writing a petition to ban rappers from interviewing while intoxicated!

  • Great track

  • What happened? This track is the best. now we have all this dumbass rap that isnt the realist.

  • Classic Track from tha one-double nin'-fo'

  • why yall don't listen to the song and stfu ?

  • slept on

  • By lookin at the comments below, every good track here on youtube somehow people start mentioning names like soulja boy, new boyz, 50 cent n all em commercial rats.

    why ?

this track is not worth it, if someone says it aint good, it aint good for theyre ears, let em haters be :D

    gotta comment this amazing track

pete rock got skills to make you sit back and relax and slowly nod ur head and he makes yu think ! Like dat shiet :P

    Respect up

    Eastie !

  • @EastieMusic their *

  • FIRE!

  • dear rappers,

    what the fuck happened?

  • @00eddie0 happened I guess. It's easier for companies to make fast money off talentless fads, rather then invest in real talent for the long haul. People have to take back the industry by not supporting the marketed garbage, but the problem is, a good deal of people are buying mainstream garbage simply because it's there. They go along with it or don't know of non-mainstream material, for one reason or another.

  • 7 people put thumbs down for this song. That 7 wack people that dont have a ear for good music. This song should have 0 thumbs down.

  • I bought this cd 3x's

  • Gah. This music is amazing. ♥

  • daaaaaammmmnnnnnnn..... pete rock you are a mad scientist!!

  • Dammm this is a real Peace of shit

  • Classic!

  • Classic Nuff said LOL ^_^

  • They need to play more sounds like this on the radio. this lil wayne and souljah toy bullshit is all u hear now' days

  • @PHL0WN You, my friend, are a true hip hop fan. Lil Wayne is garbage. Spread the word throughout Youtube. We must destroy that awful music.

  • @Brehization you know who else is garbage, Soulja Boy, that guy is an idiot in every sense of the word itself, & now I heard that Lil Boosie might be facing the death penalty for murder, no surprise there, it's rappers like them that give hip hop a bad name everywhere, now Pete Rock he is the real deal & what hip hop should sound like, not those stupid assholes who call themselves rappers & get themselves fuck up, we must get real hip hop back on the radio & fast before these clowns Kill it.

  • @Harlemlate yeah we need lyrics that actually make sense back on the radio, i coempletely agree, and beats that arent just absolutely rediculous, like that gay techo shit that is in every new song i fucking hear... it's really depressing for the hip hop world.... we need classic hiphop back... NOW

  • this is when hip hop had a meaning.. Pete Rock and Cl were a classic
