Thats a workstation though, like a professional arranging keyboard. Where as the Microkorg is a Vocoding Synthesizer. I dunno if there will be much sound editing on the po50, but your MK here will defonitly suit a Shikari sounding band

Well customs, basically what I do, is pick a patch I dont like, and press SHIFT + 3 on it. This makes it a raw wave, Nothing but a wave shape. Starts off as a saw.

From there, you can build every part of your sound up using the edit knobs

Anything from typ of wave, effects, wave characterizations, mods and modulations, arepgatiation

Anything!

Dont go crazzzzzzy when you edit stuff, actually learn what part of the sound your editing, what it does, then youll get to know different sounds in general. Its hard to explain, but basically learn what parameters change what part of the sound, itll make your sounds truley awesome

anything can happen is played using bank b13, arpeggiated...

so when you play it it just sounds like there is a lot going on...(when really its just the series of the 3 notes at a time.)

Itll take you a longggg time to get into the editing side if your not used to it.

But the layout/patterns is easy to get around. If your just using it for presets, youll be used to it within the week

i admire people who can touch a synth and get these sounds out of it. You can say what you want about electronic music, but THIS requires lots of ingenuity and feeling for harmonies (and often, disharmonies ;))... not to mention a will to experiment. Shame that these "toys" are so expensive :(
