Watch the first 2 helo's, 1st one, rear rotor obviously went out, and the pilot hit the throttle to not go into a spin, where he then started taking on water making it impossible to get into flight, 2nd one, electronics failure on landing, then tail rotor went out and went into a spin, you can't help that, Dunno what that chinook was doin though o_O

this helicopter was designed to be landed on its belly in the water as it did at the start. this was like a trial, to show how it would aid the rescue of people in the water. however as the pilot tried to take off you can clearly see the large bow wave on the nose of the chopper which sadly caused this horrible accident with the loss of the pilot as you correctly stated. tragic

looks like there was to much negative g force and stalled the propeller and the power got weaker when it hit the water and the tail propeller was not effected at all so it lifted the back end of the helocopter and the top propeller was still going fast enough to cause it to shred into peices,so sad :(
