  • hehe ;) i like

  • Don't forget to sanitize the island

  • Love ringnecks!

  • Did you know

The Indian Ringneck Parrot (aka Indian Ringneck Parakeet).

Although Officially Classified as a Parakeet - Indian Ringnecks are True Parrots.

Indian Ringnecks are comical, very intelligent, and make great pets. They learn quickly and love to be the center of attention.

Arguably, the Indian Ringneck's talking a...bility is superior to every bird except for the African Grey. They are able to pronounce words with amazing clarity and easily compete with Quakers and Amazons.

  • He did do something. He crapped on your counter and was not apologizing for it. lol

  • oops I was trying to thumbs up but I did down... Srry

  • eh oh well

  • Oliver is Awesome!

  • Cute!

    Oliver's a girl. :P

  • Thank you, but I assure you that Ollie's a boy. This video was taken when he was just a baby. You can see him with his ring now in his other video that's on my channel, "Oliver Does Something Else". He's so pretty now that it has grown in!

  • Ohhh that explains it. Indian ringnecks don't get the ring until after their first couple of molts.. Thanks for clarifying!

  • cute but i think shes a girl i dont see a ring:S

  • do u clip there wings sorry but sum peple are tellin me to but i dnt think its right can i have sum other peoples apinions

  • Some people do and others don't, its safer to have them clipped as it reduces the risks of them escaping.

People who don't have them clipped must have a room in the house especially for the birds xD

  • That's nice of you both, thank you! I still miss Pippin a lot. But somehow I ended up with 3 more birds over the past year, an albino IRN Clarice, a sun conure Phoenix, and a green cheek conure Mango. They keep me pretty busy! And they're so funny and sweet.

  • very good joke hahahahahahahaha

  • I had never even heard of IRN's until I met Pippin, and she quickly won my heart. We're moving soon so I can't get another bird now, but this summer a big bird fair comes into town, with reputable breeders and such, and I'm going to go and see if I can find another sweet IRN. The house seems lonely without a bird in it, but she knew she was very loved when she was with us. BTW, I've seen this vid before and Oliver falling off the counter always cracks me up! And I remember those poops. LOL

  • He's adorable! I need to stop doing this to myself. My female lutino IRN Pippin died of unknown causes last Sunday. I'm devastated, and watching videos of other IRN's isn't making me feel any better. You're right, they're very sweet and loving birds, Pippin was a member of the family.

  • I'm so sorry to hear about Pippin! Oliver is the light of my life and i don't know what I'd do without him. His mother was lutino, and she was a very beautiful bird. I'm sure Pippin was too. Maybe you should get another IRN once you've had time to heal from this tragedy...I highly recommend them, as you can tell!

  • hahaha what a smart bird. oh wow that means my baby can do 2 things also.

  • Oliver is so cute ! i hade irn called Oliver :D but he lives at my friends place now !

  • You can barely see it, coming in up under his chin. The lighting in this video isn't the greatest. But, his breeder had this clutch sexed anyway. :) He's the best bird I've ever had -- so sweet and affectionate!

  • It's good to see more Indian Ringneck owners on YouTube! How do you know it's a boy? I noticed the black ring hasn't grown in yet.
