Aishiteru is a powerful word and I've never used and heard this word in real life except from TV or Songs , even though Im Japanese. Sukidesu , Suki are way more common and natural. Under only some circumstances that you can't live without your lover, you can say "Aishiteru"

I think it is alot easier to say it in french.just say "Je T'aime". look up pronunciation. its kinda like yur saying I You Like(love) cas Je = I, Tu( from the T' conjunction T'aime) = You, and Aime= Like(or in this case love) that all. its only one phrase in french.
