@Christopher80611 Morgan Freeman is 73 years of age. In 2.5 months he will be 74, and this year he will be awarded the AFI Lifetime Achievement Award.
i also think ,its very underrated, could be some of their best work, because it does so much good for so many. so thank you all, for this most uplifting film. some of the dialogue is great. thanks to mandela for speaking it and for clint and the crew for giving it to the world. so i hope you guys are proud of the service you've done
this is one of eastwood's most underrated movies. (the most underrated is gran torino). here he reinvents the "sport movie" by showing what an impact the sucess of a sport team can have on a country and society.
@inrwizards "Gran Torino" wa svery underrated but I don't know about "Invictus". The acting was great (although ti was mostly just Freeman and Damon) and it started off very well and was compelling in the begining, but started to fade into a typical sports flick towards the end.
@KrfNYC2 i dont know, i really liked the way its sort of a biopic and a sport movie. gran torino is clearly better, but i liked this significantly better than his good, but overrated oscar winning million dollar baby
@Edge1234101 Way off. He's a guy that was eyeballing his step-daughter as he raised her and now is dating her (if he hasn't already married her). Great actor...I saw him in the original Driving Miss Daisy off-Broadway... but a skeez in his personal life.
@KrfNYC2 OMG it's everywhere...even in the regular news channels. It's not a tabloid rumor. Google it. He's a great actor but when I look at him now, I can't help but realize he was watching this woman even when she was little. She's not his blood but he raised her. That's just creepy to me.
@KrfNYC2 Believe it or not, I gave up my television years ago. And please, if you are one of those 'he's a great star so whatever anyone writes about him is trash' kind of people please don't bother to reply. This story has been in reputable newspapers (yes, as well as the tabloids). It's ok if you don't want to believe it. But I'm not about to get into one of those back and forth conversations. Thanks and see ya.
@blkchk I never said that it was true or false. All I'm saying is that I've never even met Morgan Freeman, so I'm not in a position to claim that I know the truth regarding the situation. And even if I did see something, I still don't see myself being in a position to judge his character. Things are not always as they seem. Actually, they seldom are.
@Cypha1 Yes. I think that he's underrated. His role in "Lean On Me" is shamefully overlooked. Also, I would love to speak to him because he seems to have that very very delicate and attractive balance between cool and kind. I know somebody like that. Anyway...that's it.
one of the greatest actors ever .......ever
