  • I've this one in my pc. I tried to play Battlefield 3 on the lowerest quality and it sucks!! Do you have any idea what videocard would fit for me (price around $150 - $ 180)?

  • @Ronart1000 get a 6850 and flash the bios to a 6870

  • @xpgek that was already some card i was thinking about ;)

but im quite a noob in this stuff, so what do you exactly mean? should I buy the 6850 and overclock it to 6870?!

a friend of mine has bought the 6870... he says it's good enough for me...

  • @Ronart1000 jup somthing like that u could flash teh card there are tuts on utube about that or if ur cooler on ur card is good u could OC it 6850 is the best card for its money on the market right now

  • @xpgek thx!

  • hey i just watched your review of the the Saphire version of this card and its GPU-Z score for Texture Fillrate was just 2.2 this gets a significantly more 10.4! even tho the rest of the specs are same

  • can a 300 watt power supply run this card?

  • @HSGin You need 400 watts.

  • @HSGin you can run it on 300w no problem

  • will this card run new games on a 1366x760 res? And i don't really care much for anti analyzing

  • i play battlefield bad company 2 on max settings with this video card.

  • @wawowhead is it good because i got a custom pc off a pc export he did it himself im using it now and i told him to put in the best grapchics card u can get and that was a month ago

  • @laim1499

its not that good ive actually turned the settings to medium now because the frame rate has gone nuts lately almost to the point its unplayable. much better at medium setting. much better cards out there im sure. i could play crysis 2 tho on it but it doesnt look that good.

  • @wawowhead ok thanks ill tell him

  • think my card is better, mine is an ati radeon 4650 hd 1g

  • fan speed. Which fan?

  • oh this graphics card is fine and allmost same with the sapphire ati 5450

  • Now imagine those in SLI, soo much power!!

  • @TKORob This car is not at all powerful.

Even 5 of these in crossfire is no match for higher ATI models.

  • @prisonbreak7760 lol yea i was being very sarcastic

  • so it only lasts for 50000 hours?

  • @animefan01231 Or 5 years in real usage.

  • All these technical reviews don't make any sense to me...my nephew loves video games and I want to get him a computer with a descent graphics card. It would be nice if reviews just listed a dozen or so modern high-tech 3D games like GTA4 or Assassin's Creed III and listed how well the graphics card would run those games. That way simple people like me could get a feeling for how good the graphics card is. That's just my advice.

  • Do you guys think this would run better than a geforce 9400gt card with 1gb vid ram?

  • @snugglybear182

Double your budget and buy a 4670 or GT 240 or something, hella lot faster. DX11 on this card doesn't make sense.

    40$ card can't game.

  • @supercritical100

there can game. just expect to play any game less than 5 years old.

  • if you want a cheap card, i would strongly suggest a nvidia card. almost all radeon cards of similar performance, use up more energy(and generate lots heat) than a nvidia. more heat also means shorter lifespan. nvidia is almost always better value for money.

you should only get a an ATI/radeon card for its performance.

  • @rebelanarch

I don't want to offend you but are you smoking something? you said exactly the opposite.

GT 210 is piece of crap barely faster than a HD 4200 on board video, obviously it's slower than 4550/5450

    Heck it's even slower than a 9400GT

GT 220 is as expensive as 5550 yet lot slower

  • @supercritical100

did you even read my comment? i didn't say they were all faster! i said the almost the opposite. nvidia cards are more stable and cooler... "cooler" as in lower temperature if you can't understand that either. and GT210 is more of an exception than anexample of overall nvidia performance and stabilty.

  • @rebelanarch

True that 4800 series were quite a bit hotter than 9800GTX and GTX 200 series, but that's it. 5000 series and lower end 4000 series are all as cool as the other cards, and GTX 480/470 are space heaters, even more than 4800s

Talking about stability, there is not general consensus which card is more stable, it all depends on the card maker. If the manufacturer decides to use cheap parts, no matter it is Nvidia or ATI neither will last as long as cards with high quality components.

  • can u show this card benchmarks with 9500gt ddr3????

i wanna buy 1 out of these.... so i am a bit confused!!!!!

  • Great for home theater pcs. :)

  • what about the 1gb version of this graphics card?

  • dx11 card that doesnt play dx11 games on high settings. wtf??

  • @cokacutter It's called budget/mainstream. It's not a high end card.

  • which one is better for casual gaming, or which is more powerful?

    hd4670 or HD5450?

  • @PoeHopIn74

The 4670 is about 3 times more powerful than the 5450.

I have a DDR3 version of the 5450, I game at 1280x1024 and it does fine on slightly older games(ie Half Life 2). It depends what you mean by 'casual' gaming. Team Fortress 2 is a game that could use a 4670 vs the 5450.

  • @flibber123

thanks man that answered my question perfectly. i really just wanted to know the power difference.

and i casual i mean like playing new games like MW2 on like medium settings with 40-50+ fps.

thanks man that is what i wanted to know.

  • @PoeHopIn74 4670 is much better. 5450 is just to say that your pc has a video card... It's not good for gaming... If you want a gaming video card with DX11 then get at least a 5670. Otherwise, get the 4670 with DX 10.1.

  • @PoeHopIn74 HD5570 might be a good idea too

  • anyone notice his desktop background?

  • @PoeHopIn74 I did ;) I'm wondering what kinda girl it is lol

  • sorry if im spaming you with this but i really want this theme and i need someone to help me and the pepole to get it:)

  • How to disable Physx when 3DMark Vantage runs? I have 9600GT and this supports Physx. So help me Plz

  • can it be run on a 300W PSU?

  • @punisher2892 :look at 0.40 ---->19 watts at load.Unless you have like 4 harddrives and 4 dvdplayers you should be able to use this card even with cheapst possible PSU

  • @Buzzlybonk thanx for the answer dude!!

  • @punisher2892 with a duo core yes, quad maybe if its 95watt, takes low power, i would go for it!

  • why did you not try it out on hybrid crossfire with the integrated 4290?

  • lol the wallpaper is from AMD GAME

    amd + ati

  • Can you give me your wallpaper, please?

  • adorable little card wich serves no purpose really if you want dx11 just gut 5500 /5600 series its uber cheap enough. dx10 cards like 4830 / 4850 / 4870 / 4890 are all waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay faster so i wouldnt spend any money on this >_>

  • will 3d vision discover do 3d games on my 9600 gso

  • @sKyyyFir3 they are both 1gig version btw. still the 4870 better ?

  • Comment removed

  • @NOXXism what so omg ???

  • Comment removed

  • wow very low fps.... i dislike it

  • @Computerhelp92 that's really weird as i only have a Pentium 4 at 3.0GHz i can't even afford a dual haha... i what to know what's so different about you're system that you get lag with a CPU that has just under twice the processing power

  • Nice review mate ;)

  • i had a ati radeon HD4870 1gb that 1 was broken and i got from the store a gefore GT 240 wihc 1 is better or are they around the same ??

  • @rafman1010 OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG

  • @rafman1010 the hd 4870 is better

  • @Computerhelp92 I found the HD 4350 to be quite a good card for the price i mean i have one and it runs GTA4 perfectly with medium settings

  • @f417avlabs what resolution

  • @hootis8 1280 x 1024

  • The Radeon 4850 is better than this, the only cards that top the 4850 are the 5,800 and the 5,900's.

  • @helloimclaudio Nice trolling.

  • @Computerhelp92 don't complain, my computer only supports AGP...

  • I have a sapphire 5770 and i get low fps especially when smoke is involved (in MW2 the fps jumps from 90 to 15 with intensive smoke >.<). Is this because i have a pci-e 1.0 slot, 1.5 gb left on my hardrive or is it something else?

I have a 3.4 ghz quad core btw

  • geez why are you using a 1kW PSU for your test system?

  • I bet you have a ton of media PC's with all these low-end cards you get sent lol

  • 4 people missed the like button

  • @forthewolf325 I oc'd mine so :D but anyway its a great card no matter what

  • Its not bad for like a parent that doesnt play video games and just uses it to search or check email or watch videos online...i wouldnt use this card to play on though...

  • Cool maybe ill pass this on to my dad.

  • Thumbs up if 1440 x 900 is your fav resolution for gaming!

  • @RandomCrap202 It's not my favorite but I don't have a better monitor.

  • lol performance of a 8600gt

  • sadly mine is much better for only $60 its the zotac 9500gt

  • kan Ubuntu work on a Dell power edge 2850?

  • I think my GTS250 is better than this. Not sure at all but it got 1 GB, and that is what matters :)

  • @Xterminatorbond Stop trolling.

  • @jorge69696 Lol dude i seriously don't know.

  • You NERD!

  • @tehpoposhow I don't think he buys it.The companies give it to him for review.

  • @o0Deano2k80o its just the way its built...it means nothing to anyone lol

  • @Iuliskaya No. PCI-E

  • eeh is this an agp card?

  • @Frankjjs aha no they like dont make agp anymore

  • @altf4nubs not true. there are still some AGP cards in production

  • Comment removed

  • Could you review the gtx 470?

  • How do u get the Graphics card info like in 2:22 Plz tell me

  • Dude stop reviewing crap that doesn't matter, there is no difference in cheep cards. If you want better performance stay away from any thing under 150$

  • hmm someone got new music added on the intro

  • dont expect to watch 1080p with this trash of a card if you dont have 2gb of ram and 2 cores

  • Honestly, ATI and AMD have been in a hole these past few years, I gave up hope for them am I am now an Intel and nVidia user.

  • Are u fucking me?Look at the size of this flying thing...

  • 5670 is the best deal if you are on a tight budget

  • I bet this gets 100+ fps on mah jong

  • will this work with a Intel motherboard

  • @marybob321 IT WORKS WITH ANY MOTHERBOARD ! unless it does not have pci 2.0

  • 50 bucks? that is a steal if you want something good but nothing major

  • nice

  • Pretty good temps, my 9400 GT idles at 60C lol

  • ati 5670 for the mid line gamer :D

  • what do you recomand for a good graphic card for any game?

  • @coulddude ATI Radeon HD 5670 1gb GDDR5 is what I have it surpasses my standereds i run crysis on very high with about 55-60 fps avg :D

  • @AKoRAce what's your processer? RAM?

  • @coulddude gtx 260 only $200 and its a monster

  • Where are you getting Axle cards? I can't find them on NewEgg!

  • is it better than a gigabyte ati radeon hd 3450 512mb ? i know it´s newer but , is there a big difference?

  • @Victor00Lopez Well you got DX11 support. And it's probably faster

  • @Alex148710 ooo ok, so it reduces lag or something like that? :P

  • @Victor00Lopez I'd probably be faster to run accelerators in programs like Photoshop but it's definitely not for gaming!

  • @Alex148710 oooh thats what i wanted to know :)

any cheap ones for gaming better than that hd 3450?

and thanks for the info :D

  • @Victor00Lopez 4870 should be cheap, bought one for 200$ when they came out. I can run Metro 2033 on highest settings @ 1920x1200 4xAA, no lag usually. But I recommend saving up and getting the nVidia 475, it's not too much more.

  • @Victor00Lopez I'm not with @CrazyMonkey124 on that one.. I agree with the part of the 4870 but if you wanna get more performance and a card that will last longer I'd rather go with a 5770.. It think it will be perfect for your needs; I personally own a 5770 and I'm pleased with the performance!

  • @Victor00Lopez what I see yes but you have to have a pci-e slot on yhour computer not a agp (old standard)

  • @Buzzlybonk yeah i got a pci-e slot

    PCI Three (Two available)

PCI Express x16 One (One available)

    that´s what i got

  • @Victor00Lopez .It may not be so good but it may not draw much power so you dont need to change any powersupply.I would not go for this unless i had old amd 939 c singleecore or P4, its a bottleneck. I think the texturefillrate is moer than double of 3450 and pixel maybe 10% more eg slightly faster but with double texturequality-if you want to

  • @Buzzlybonk i made a mistake its a hd 4350 xP

oh and my pc is amd 64 x2 4200

  • @Victor00Lopez then if you do a uppgrade with that you basiclly byu a newer version you your card I would not go for less than a ati 3850 (old) even my ATI 850XT which is 5 years old had 2.5 the power you got now( I guess but cpu is bottlenecking) ,yes its old and thus need watts like 500w good powersupply eg cost a lot maybe as much as that videocard

  • i woyld never use less than a 5770 in any computer

  • He pcwizkid, when is the guess a gaming rig contest results being posted? Uhh i dont mean to rush, i just wanna know because my friend wants to try it out.

Also, for the clocks at 2:37 it says the clocks are 650mhz and 800mhz, but at 2:53 it says the clocks are 157.0mhz and 300.0mhz. WHat happened to the 500 mhz?

  • @helldrag0n47 I'm guessing it's clocking itself differently depending on the GPU load. :|

  • For a decent, and cheap, gaming card, I reccomend getting a HD 5750.

  • thumbs up if you think he says "direct X 11" in a funny way

  • better than an xbox or ps3 gpu

  • Hey Just For Fun ,You Should Compare these New Low End Cards against an 6800 gt/Ultra and Show how Far low end Cards have Come.

  • 'all of your audio'

Really? its a graphics card. Duh!

  • ive got a Asus EAH3650 Silent Magic, well its kinda like 5450 but it has 2 DVIs & component HD out

  • WHO WON THE CONTEST!

  • for "tight small" cases

    hehe

    sex jokes are phunny!

  • awesome

  • SOO WANT ONE!

  • $50? really? lolololol. now I understand "Entry Level" haahahhah

  • If this is home theater...

Wouldnt the HD5670 Ultimate be same?

  • @Zillerz3 No because it's bigger, hotter and uses more power. You want HTPC to be small, energy efficient/cool/quiet. That's why small cards like this are good for HTPC.

  • People tough this could play Crysis on max?! Wow these people obviously don't know what entry level cards are.

  • For light to mid gaming / business / internet purposes only.

  • Thanks for making a review on this card ! Was looking for something for my HTPC :)

  • Hey i gots Nvidia Geforce 7050, is it any good for gaming?:p i dont know shit abour cards and processors and all that...

  • @lundpyara no.

  • @LbsOfTech what card should i buy, i dont play me2 or gta, im just going to play counter strike source

  • @lundpyara I have a 9500 but i still get only 80 fps on the vid stress test with everything on high, but my brother got the nvidia 9800 and it gets 180 fps on the stress test. It's like 80 or 90 bucks too, kinda cheap

  • @lundpyara

Look a 1950XT can play CSS at 1920x1200 at 40-60fps.

So anything higher than that can do better.

  • @lundpyara Umm... get a GT 9800

  • Just what I need for playing Purple Place on Windows 7.

  • Nice background :D

  • awesome for solitaire

  • @NhojSelore

    lol :)

  • sapphire radeon 5570 is my new favorite HTPC card

  • cheap cards :(

  • @xXEliteNewbieXx Exactly, you get what you pay for. some people want thes cards for a HTPC which they are great for.

  • @PCWizKid ok

  • @PCWizKid I have in a low profile case an hd4650 which supports directx10.1 and it seems a lot faster than this one...also does this card come with the lp bracket?

  • @PCWizKid Hey PCWizKid, Im going to college soon, and i gotta get a laptop for myself, but i want one that is good for gaming, hopefully below 1200$.

  • @wrb1993 Take a look at the ASUS G51. They come in different configuration, and well under 1200$.

  • @PCWizKid i do agree i got a 4550 for my fathers pc it was plenty of power he needed as he dont game...

  • @PCWizKid i think he's putting the sad face b/c he wants to put some of the higher end cards like a gtx 480 or something like that

  • @PCWizKid 5750 for 200$ For the win. Amazing card. Cheap and powerful.

  • @Disturbed9696 more like 5770 for $189

  • @Disturbed9696

    5770 is price around 200

    5750 is around 150

  • @RoCRoikar Yeah i got it went it was a little more pricey. But bang for buck still.

  • @RoCRoikar You couldn't be more wrong.

5770's are going for $160 while 5750's are going for $140.

  • @PCWizKid Hey man i was wondering if you could do reviews on some more PSU's for like crossfire gaming?

  • @PCWizKid +1

Do we really have to do this the oldskool way? Why no thumbs up?

    Good review anyways.

  • pshhttt noob card, thumbs up if u have a better card :O

  • nice stuff

  • so many good things haha

hmm i just want to build a computer that can do anything xD
