YouTube has to realize that this video has become viral....they are NOT going to take it down enough to keep the message from getting out. But the question becomes why they are so afraid to respond to this lunacy. VoteBots are a violation of ToS, yet they persist. Spamming messages are violations of ToS, yet they persist.
I believe it's more youtube is afraid of being sued. Not by the scientific community, but by the various religious factions who could claim religious persecution if they were checked by youtube itself.
While I doubt this would go very far in the courts, I can see how the idea of being sued by such groups as being 1) expensive for them 2) would scare off advertisers and sponsors and 3) be very bad publicity for them.
So in a sense youtube is looking at the bottom line for them.

Excellent work. We will not be silenced by votebots and Orwellian policies.
Free speech FTW!

ExtantD0d0, I'm all for free speech. But I appreciate proper spelling and grammar. In the title, "it's" should be "its."

I agree. Apparently YouTube doesn't appreciate constructive criticism...

YouTube probably perceives us as being a 'lesser threat'.
But, by protecting themselves they are ignoring their own rules which they made up to sound fair.

Personally, I think the "BIG" channels use these tools and google knows it.
