  • Wow, this is really well made. Can't imagine how much work went in to choosing the clips and editing them together!

  • i just found out the person who did this is a chick and i am surprise no twlight but all my favs. are in here not all of the but still fantastic video thank you

  • what is the name of the last song ?¿?

  • @adycoltzi "Mad world"

  • Comment removed

  • First time i saw this i cried at 6:39

  • Should seriously have a list of all these movies

This and the Kubrick one are my two favorite things on youtube.

  • what movie at 0:42 seconds?

  • @TheTributeMedia I think it is "signs"

  • Totally BRILLIANT. Sandy

  • for idiots who say "they dont make em like they used to", "no soul these days", etc... watch this video. i for one am a huge fan of cinema from every decade. every decade has terrible films and brilliant films. of course "they dont make em like they used to". they wont make them like this in 20, 30, and 40 years. embrace change.

  • @palehorse44 i mean, this fillm between 0:42 0:43, with two monsters.

  • @bdylka Dog Soldiers

  • what is the movie in 0:43 ?

  • @bdylka 28 Days Later. Pretty good movie.

  • Love your videos barringer82!!!! <3

  • can somebody please please tell me what movie the scene at 1:25 is from? thank you!

  • @deviliciousangel235 I think that's from Walk The Line but I could be wrong.

  • @palehorse44 you're right! hehe thanks but i meant the zombie walking right before it the timing was wrong

  • @deviliciousangel235 I just recently watch The Devil's Rejects for the first time, so I didn't even know it was in this montage until I saw the scene! It's actually a woman running with a flesh-mask put on her. Of her boyfriend, I think; man, Rob Zombie is a twisted genius.

  • @deviliciousangel235 The Devil's Rejects

  • this is fucking brilliant

  • I need to rewatch this to make sure, but no animated films? Really? Especially since that decade had some of the best.

  • ive been on stumbleupon all fucking day looking at stupid videos and i came across this one. you chose some of the best scenes in cinema to put into this video and it really moved me. i loved every second of it and mad world almost brought a tear to my eye. god damn

  • really? Eminem? WTF man

  • best horor film of the decade the devils rejects

  • 12 people were born in 2010

  • probably the greatest thing ever

  • This is fucking good!!!

  • I dont give a fuck what anyone says.

    sure some were missing..

    but it was still awesome

  • SPUN!

  • movies in the 2000s were horrible except for a few funny comedies everything was pretty much shit

  • @mmtna You need to watch more films.

  • @sociallogie sorry movies haven't been the same since the 90s theirs no heart and soul anymore no originality.

  • @mmtna were films ever original? Some of the greatest films ever made, were ether ripped off from other sources. Or were inspired by another film. Star wars= Flash Gordian/ Buck rogers. Blade Runner= Do androids dream of electric sheep? 2001= a combination of short stories. Fact of the matter is, every generation has its classics, along with pieces of shit films such as Avatar. But that's just my point of view.

  • @sociallogie avatar was shit.

  • @mmtna Fucking A! JI can see your point this decade seems to promote shit films. rather than those gems that are becoming so hard to fin right now. But I can list several films of the past decade that are truly wonderful. and 2,000 more that are a waste of time and money.

  • people say movies nowadays aren't what they used to be, have no soul, running out of ideas, etc etc. i strongly disagree

every era of movies are both brilliant and terrible, this video is proof enough of that

  • shit, that was good.

  • brillant!

  • Did I see Audition? That's 1999, isn't it?

  • AMAZING

  • 2:26 what movie?

  • Best film - City of God

Best performance (male) - Daniel Day lewis (TWBB) / Michael Fassbender (Hunger)

Best actress female - Marion Cotillard (La Vie en Rose) / Charlize Theron (Monster)

Supporting (male) - Javier bardem (NCFOM) / Christoph waltz (IB)

    IMO

  • still one of my favorite vids

  • Awesome job! Done with good taste, I love this video

  • The 2000s was the decade when Fantasies got more Gritty (Lord of the Rings, The Dark Knight, District 9, Pirates of the Caribbean, black humor in almost every comedy, and the apparent rule that family films if they were darker they were better like Star Wars, Harry Potter, or any superhero film)

The decade when Dramas dared to have fun and make jokes with the audience with a bit of surrealism (Slumdog Millionare, Inglourious Basterds, 28 days later, the Cohen Brothers, Requiem for a Dream...)

  • Deserves SOOO MANY MORE VIEWS

  • Brilliant, only you could make this decade of films look so beautiful, I know you can't pout everything on, but did you not like Oldboy or Almost Famous?

  • Unquestionably the best video on YouTube. Still though, you're quite neglective of European cinema. Are you at all interested in it?

  • is pans labrynth or let the right one in on here

  • I think this a great video, but I agree with a lot of people. There are a lot of other films that could have been included. But I don't blame you for excluding certain films. I guess the decade in film can't always be defined in just 7 minutes.

  • dude u need to see Crash, Its one of the best.

  • @007LandShark : Crash is racist trash. out of date. the usa just elected a black man dummy.

  • what about THE MILLIONAIRE ???

for me one the best films ever...

  • u should do like a massive hour long montage of every movie of every decade

  • Hey did i see vincent gallos brown bunny?

  • Still Awesome

  • Man, that Eminem song is so over-used, it rapes montages of their dignity.

  • No Oldboy???? = EPIC FAIL

  • Comment removed

  • @bashthebandello I think the "epic fail" is that you don't recognize Ghost World when you see it.

  • @barringer82

    lol

  • @barringer82 no "Milk"?

  • @barringer82 I saw it and deleted the comment!

  • @bashthebandello So after you called this video an epic fail because you fucked up by not noticing Ghost World, you go and delete your comment? Is it because you felt stupid and embarrassed, and don't want people to read your stupidity after being stood corrected?

  • I've watched this like 5 times. I keep coming back--I can't get enough. Spectacular job.

  • you have a fantastic taste in film

  • I was hoping you would use solely and individually the BEST pictures/films of the 2000s intead of a bunch of numerous, random ones. There are some good ones in here though.

  • did you get your name from magnolia? sydney barringer? and the curled up wires on the roof that look like 82? just wonderin...

  • is there one of the 60's

  • training day super bad pineapple express wedding crashers cast away signs 40 year old virgin american pie orphan next friday are some of my favorites from the 2000s

  • Thanks. , I did not watch all those movies. I would like, but still did not give advice. When asked about some of their name, some may be badly written.

However, very well made movie :)

  • Thanks SavisQ. For the record though, 4:58 is The Hours, not Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf. Kind of a strange mistake as it would require you to already be familiar with The Hours yet not have seen Who's Afraid of Virgina Woolf (which is in black and white).

  • most unfourtunate decade in 50 years

  • Only complaint i have is that i didnt see any of the movie Seven Pounds.a wonderful and beautiful movie(:

  • I have to say the 2000's werent as sucky as I thought they were... I mean we got Shaun of the Dead.

  • The clip right after Monster, around 5:35, with the upside shot of the woman reading? I've seen this image before, but I'd like to know what movie it's from, if someone could be so kind.

  • @chimerical31 Irreversible

  • what movie is @2:47?

  • @sunwukong86 O Brother where art Thou

    or

    Secretary

  • This is one of the best if not the best movie montage I've ever seen. You compress the decade so perfectly! You have ridiculous talent at making these things but that's kind of stating the obvious. Amazing Job!

  • Brilliant, Favorited Thanks

  • Whats the film at 2:54

  • @Johnnyo743 Cast Away (if thats the one you are talking about cuz i have no idea on the women swimming in the pool hah :P)

  • "All around me are familiar faces." kill bill. surrounded by asians. Nice.

  • Fuck! This is absolutely the best got damn clip I've seen this year! I've seen like 80% of the movies here and most of them are really great. I only wish The Last Samurai would be here but still the clip is absolutely fantastic. Bravo!

  • 5:23 the rabbit thing?? what is it??

  • @avalanchealonso yes I am way off here.. the movie may be Don't Say a Word

  • @thejayis1 Wow, good eye for the Aviator, didn't notice the mustache, its from the end when he snaps and is in the editing room right?

  • @thechallenger9000 I believe so, you can tell he's at the begiining stages of snapping... i haven't seen the movie in some time.

  • There should be something from The Constant Gardener and Iris in this. Probs too serious to fit in.

  • Donnie Darko...

  • okay, I LOVE this, but I have one rather large criticism... I realize that you didn't put EVERY movie thats decent from the last decade, and you made really good choices, but I think a huge part of the last decade-- film wise-- was the animation. Shrek, WALLE, Finding Nemo, Fantastic Mr Fox, and Spirited Away are great. And I think at least one of them should have made the list
