Umm, back to the glasses - these don't work the way Nixie implies. They don't "adjust so you don't have to" - they're bifocals with an on/off switch for the little "reader" part near the bottom. That's it. ON or OFF - there's no "adjustment" or "focusing" feature. Interesting tech, but don't overstate what it does.
