omg this manga is actually good, my friend hated it so much because she thought the pictures were ugly, and that the only reason shes not reading it,is cause she thinks it ugly and boring... but really it's actually a good series..it's hella funny like ehh... I LOVE HANA YORI DANGO !!! and i think tsukasa Domiyogi is a good character

@killaKollie I was originally put off by the animation of the anime and watched about 10 minutes and left it but I'm so glad I went back and gave it another shot, I love it! Its now one of my favourite series and I instantly had to go read the manga

@killaKollie i love the manga and the anime, but my friend Merri hasn't tried the manga cuz she doesn't really like the art (she's more of a Full Moon and Fruits Basket type art fan) and she tried the anime but gave up on it before the first 4 episodes were over cuz she thought it was boring and that the art was weird >:(

yea, same here. i just finished the japanese drama last night. HYD, HYD2Returns and the movie. i would watch the anime, but i don`t really like the graphic and i aboslutely hate how doumyoji looks like in the anime his curly curly perm is waaaay better in the live action XD

Meteor Garden is the taiwanese version of Hana Yori Dango. Many would say Hana Yori Dango is better, but to me, both are just as brilliant and enjoyable to watch! :D

That's Makino. =] At one point, she was kind of "kidnapped" and used as a pawn so some other guys could beat up Domyogi(sp?). Her hair was partially cut off and so she had to get it evened out. (It would look kind of odd with short hair on one side and long on another.) XD
