  • It happens sometimes with backward throwing, especially if the weight is significant. Look at a suplex in wrestling. This is why good mobility, especially spinal, is important.

  • me too but i was juggling it inside the gym i work at like a idiot. the kettlebells that are completly cast iron are more durable but also more expensive than the ones at sports authority.

  • This seems like a really good workout. One problem I had, was that I threw a kettlebell once and the handle sheered off. Apparently cast iron is very brittle when caught in an awkward position... so that has been my only caution.

    Thankfully my friend is a welder... he saved my bacon!
