stratocasters are hard to play, its harder to find the pitch harmonics and more difficult to get a clear sound when doing hammer-on's / pull-offs. There really nice when you actually get used to playing them its a lil knacky but still not my forte

@xo1tom1ox I have a Stratocaster :) They aren't too hard to play - depends on what you are used to. The Stratocaster was my first guitar, and nothing can replace it :)

hahaha, for sure - I've told all my friends those are basically THE scales to know. Modes are whatever-if you've got major scales and minors on lockdown, then you're good to go.

Nah dude, even if you will never use them, the modes are very usefull because they build the full fretboard patterns for the major and minor scales, allowing you to solo all arround the neck, instead of in just one position.
