I can't really understand what's happening when the units start fighting. Maybe History Channel should just stick with the documentaries. If you want a game about Rome's battles then you might just wanna check out Rome Total War. Great game and it's realistic and somewhat accurate to Ancient History.

every game is stupid and boring if you always play on "Easy" even PoP is stupid playing it on easy, all games need the proper configuration to be fun, and yes, this game, great battles of rome, is dumb, inaccurate, and boring but RTW is far better than this, and in RTW its not only about fighting, you also need to administrate your cities so play the game before talking the game is shit....

The game itself is exactly the same as one earlier called Legion Arena It is nearly impossible to win as you aren't allowed to have all your army at a battle--you win about 3 then can't win the next one--it is frustrating to say the least :(

it's not hard to win... battles sometimes are a bit of a puzzle though...

I think they should have a skirmish mode though...

worst game ever. I got it for 4$ from some cheap shop of coppied game. I put it into my ps2 and started playing..i played for 2 min and decided i had enough..terrible graphics and boring gameplay. im glad i only paid 4$ for it..
