Well, that's the thing, audio is approx. at 1/3's of a video on the file itself, if the game is long as hell, it CAN possible take upwards of 500 MB. Since it's using more than just music. What the 16 GB person failed to tell you, is that the game he mentioned is large in itself, and the audio at most only uses 4 GB.

Am I the only one who finds a problem with GabuEx speaking to imaginary talking candy-colored ponies, from a T.V. show meant for little girls. Seriously, that kind of thing is a good sign of insanity, get some help man, get some help... All joking aside, I listen to this every chance I get, and enjoy it everytime.

This is one of those hit-or-miss kinds of things.... unfortunately, I must admit that this is a miss in my book. The only voice actors I really liked were Applebloom and the Diamond Dogs. Rainbow Dash actually sounded more like Scootaloo than Scootaloo's voice actor herself.

I like the enthusiasm of everyone, I guess. Rarity and Pinkie Pie have the same enthusiasm, but I don't think their voices are... that great.

@CrispyYoshi I agree. Pinkie and Applebloom have the same voice actress, and I thought they were both great... but Rainbow Dash kept giving me Scootaloo vibes (I still like her voice though). The Diamond Dogs were spot on. But everyone else..... meeeeh. D:

Sorry for posting again, but I just HAVE to emphasize the need for a better mic for some of them. Especially Twilight and the CMC. The voices themselves aren't half-bad (although Sweetie Belle sounds like Twist D:) but the cloudly mics make them somewhat painful to listen to. *shrug*

Also, Rarity has a very bold, strong, relatively deep voice, but she CAN go ridiculously high. In other words, she has a range.

The Rarity VA you picked here has a too soft and too high voice.

So far, Pinkie was the best. She was spot on! Twilight has a good voice, but a TERRIBLE mic. I thought Applebloom was great. nothing to say there. Ppl keep portraying Sweetie Belle with a lisp-- SHE HAS NO LISP PPL. She has a very squeaky, childish voice, but no lisp. And Scootaloo-- what I noticed while watching the show is that her voice sound more like an older girl trying to SOUND young, rather than a childish voice like the others. keep that in mind.

As a major MLP and Ace Attorney fan, I just have to keep cheering you guys on!

My ONLY small gripe is that the audio equipment with some of the voice actresses could be better, so it reduces that tinny, distorted sound. Other than that, I can actually FEEL the love of the craft for the fanwork. I'll be always cheering you guys on!

I think that the Rarity/Sweetie Belle voice actress was the best. Quite an impressive leap in voice between the two.

I personally think the VA's will be a bit much. Not to mention that the amount of disk space your resources will use will skyrocket as a result.

Let me put it to you this way, Star Wars: ToR uses a full 16 gigs of space. I predict for your game, you're going to end up taking at least 2. I would have honestly kept it to text.

That being said, the VA's themselves weren't bad... but I would definitely shop some of the voices, especially for the CCC's.

@ekimr90 2 GB for audio? The total disk space of all of the lines used in this video was about 5 MB. For Case 1 to take up 2 GB of space for audio, it would need to have 400 times as much audio as there was in this video. I don't exactly think it's going to have that much.

The voices are pretty good, though I think Sweetie Belle and Rarity were off. Rarity just needs to have more force in her voice, and Sweetie should be a little more high pitched. But all in all it's pretty good. Especially Pinkie Pie and the Diamond Dogs. Holy crap the Diamond Dogs (amazing).

I honestly think the voice acting nice, but a little too much. Only because having to add voice actors for every piece of diolauge (in a diolauge heavy series) is going to slow production down a lot, and since VA's weren't in the Pheonix Wright series you really didn't need them here. I think that it's nice that you're going to these lengths and others may like this idea, but I personally think it's a little much.

Somehow I knew that Bree would end up voicing Pinkie Pie in this. I mean, she voices Pinkie in, like, EVERYTHING. Not that I'm complaining of course. Bree's Pinkie Pie voice is Incredible.

They're all very talented and I know it's hard for adult women to make believable young girl voices, but the only ones that were slightly off were Scoots and Sweetie. They're both good, but Scoots sounded a tad too raspy... sort of like she was whispering aloud. Sweetie lisps a bit too much and sounds like Twist.

Those were my only thoughts though, otherwise they were good.

Pinkie Pie and the Diamond dogs are perfect.. the others are kinda off. Apple Bloom sounds nice too. Scoots is kind of quiet, Sweetie sounds slightly like Twist.

Either way, they're all nice!

Tips:

Rainbow Dash: Higher pitch in voice and more tomboyish.

'-doing huddled around that desk?', sounded too feminine for her.

Rarity: Roll the 'T's, don't enunciate them. Lower pitch and raise volume too.

Twilight: Same as Rarity except without needing to enunciate.

CMC: Actual children (depending on the scenarios) would make it sound more authentic.

Scoot and Sweetie (more-so) present problems. AB should try to maintain the voice.

Pinkie: Better microphone or clearer speech.

My complaints are Sweetie Belle and Rarity. Sweetie was just kinda...off, and Rarity's needs to be a bit deeper, I think. Also, I think that "pompous/proper" accent thing she gets isn't present most of the time. Other than that, they were pretty darn close. Better than I could've pulled together.

Pinkie = a bit TOO high IMO, but I wasn't that big of a fan of BreeFaith :/ (so maybe it's just me)

Twilight = just needs to match Tara's (which is obviously a challenge)

Rainbow = has something I can't think of, but it's close.

Rarity = quite breathy and her accent is a little off. . .

Mayor Mare = older

Applebloom = sounds too much like Pinkie sometimes

Scootaloo = sounds like Rainbow to me. . .

Sweetie = she's not childish/high enough.

Diamond Dogs are actually pretty accurate, Rainbow Dash could go a little higher if she wants to be like her character, CMC is fine, Twilight's okay (I've never heard ANYONE get Tara's voice spot-on), Rarity could go a little higher, and I think we all can agree Pinkie Pie is as good as ever ^^.

Except Rarity and Sweetie Bell.... At least I think so. Dash could be a LITTLE better BUT still good. Pinkie and Applebloom are spot on and Twilight, Scootaloo and Mayor are all very, very good.

I have some good news for you then! Gabu, dawnmew (one of programmers), and I talked about this subject and we have found it very feasible to include a "Classic AA" mode where the voices are turned off (except for interjections like HOLD IT!, of course).

It hasn't been included yet, so please be patient!
