  • I read that Jeff Beck owned the car now.

  • This fuckin idiot needs to quit running his dumbass mouth when he dosent know what the fuck hes talking about. Mr. Walt Bailey should never be associated with those jackaloons that have the AG car. Moron.

  • This guy his info SIDEWAYS..... The 55 was sold to WAYNE NEWSON in Baltimore Maryland and is in partners with the car with DENNY MORAN of Norwood service center...Walt Bailey owns the camera car that was used in TWO LANE BLACKTOP ONLY... the 55 from Graffiti was used in both movies as the Race Car!..... and the front has not been lowered... It now has a back seat and the roll bar was removed but sits in Gary Charnocks garage in Elkridge MD... I have Footage of the GRAFFITI 55 on YOUTUBE

  • @GasserGlass Thanks! I was pissed when I heard someone lowered, glad to know its still the same.

  • the 32 ford lives in san francisco and is driven to local shows in the city from time to time (jimmy's picnic in golden gate park in oct.) and the old singer of the stray cats has the chopped merc and has been trying to buy the original 58 used in the movie. the 58 chevy that tours is pete paulson's recreation of toads car.

  • the car Walt bailey ownes is the Blacktop interior shot car. He restored it nicely. The on screen 55 was used in both films and is owned by wayne newsome. the car is far from original anymore. The 55 that figari owns was built by richard ruth for tours and shows. the car phil morin owned was the one sent to ruth to be completly re built. maybe he is related to denny. anyway, they are all cool rides....

  • I think one of the '55's was later used in the movie "Two lane blacktop." Or maybe that movie came first? It is unfortunate that the Chevy was further modified by the next owner. He pretty much threw its value down the toilet.

  • Two Lane Blacktop was first. Also, Walt Bailey has had the car restored to the original TLB setup by Richard Ruth, who built the car in the first place. It is truly awesome! It is shown often in the PA/MD area.
