I've been watching highlights of several games leading up to and including the WC, and Abby plays an integral role in an incredibly high percentage of goals and game changing moments. Example: while Alex Morgan's first international goal vs China, then the game winner in stoppage vs Italy were great...both brought on by perfect assists from Abby. She's engaging off the pitch, and mesmerizing on it. Can't wait to see her lead her team to gold in the Olympics!
Congrats to her gettin the key to Rochester, and for having her own day as well... She deserves it, such a great person on and off the pitch such a great role model.. July 20th happy Abby Wambach day!!!!!
I'm a man who had never watched any womens' soccer in my life (until some matches) during this past tournament. I'm now a fan for life! The U.S. ladies epitomized our country's eternal, youthful spirit! They brought so much joy + respect to us for displaying the American 'zest' & tenacity on the world stage! This team has captured my heart! I've had trouble even eating well for two days now. I hope your paths will be blessed ahead ,and please, continue to kick ass in the U.S. fashion!!
i think my next tattoo is gunna be a small 20 on my ankle, she is such an inspiring player and person. You watch her play and see how she is off the field and you want to be like her. She has had things go her way and things not and yet she still never gives up and she keeps pushin forward. There arent many women athletes we can look up to, but I have to say she is the greatest one to look up too
