@TeamJacobx12 Actually my friend did it for me. She massaged my neck for about 3 minutes with lotion. Just like in the video. It made my split better by only a very little amount but it's worth at least trying. :)

For all you doubters out there, I know this works! I am a dance teacher and when I saw this I had to try it on my kids... While most of them only increased their flexibility by about 6 inches (which is still amazing!), one of my students got over 2 feet of extra extension after the massage!!! @prisilavila i did about half the time of the neck rub and my legs were really sore from a cheerleading tryout (i have never done cheerleading before) but i still strencthed about 7 inchs more then before plus you feel looser so that helps with the spits alot good luck tell me if it works for you

That is very dangerous if you aren't already flexible...just because you are massaging your nerves does not mean that your muscles can stretch that far...stretching your muscles too much farther than they can go can cause you to pull a muscle or even permanently damage hamstrings
I don't know if someone else already replied to this but you are not massaging the nerves, you are massaging the muscles that are tight around the nerves and preventing them from sliding nicely. Your hamstrings won't rip if you do this with someone experienced who knows how to work with a human body properly. Also, your hamstrings (and any other muscle in you body) have protection mechanisms to prevent them from ripping.
i do that massage on my neck to help and to me i think i know it works when i feel tingling going down my legs..but its not a bad tingling..its feels good.

I am currently seeing a chiropractor due to some twisted vertebrae in certain areas of my spine, the main being in my neck just before the skull, and I've had to take time off from my dancing due to back pains as the treatment has made the muscles around my spine tender. Do you think that my range will be unable to reach it's full potential while I'm being treated due to the constant adjustments? Also, do you think this may help along with the treatment?
The tightness is about from the buttocks down into the leg about 6 centimeters down. I just wanted to ask if i should focus on the trigger points in the gluteal muscles or if there are extra points in the upper hamstrings that I should massage too. Also is it ok to add 1 set of light isometric exercises for the hip flexors, groin muscles and hamstring twice a week or should I just go with whats in the program?

@Lsb412 Hi There :) No, you can do it yourself to! All details on the full dvds ;)
Also, once you can free off the tension in your system,and begin t strengthen through range, you will need to do it less and less!
We also talk about ways to prevent the tension coming back in the dvds :)
