Thanks to my new pal DJ Ptoghanro for finding this song for me after a 20 year+ search! I was not aware the duo were Brits! Shows we can be as good if not better than the Americans in making good rnb songs, Soul II Soul also did it. It's a shame that songs with this kind of melody are not made or appreciate anymore today. Real shame.
You will not believe how long I have searched for this song! At least 20 years. I Googled it to no avail. Of course, I did not know the artist. Only a few words from the lyrics. Thanks for posting.
This one flew under the radar here in the ATL back in the day, it never received much radio airplay here, if any at all, I would've surely remembered this smooth, funky groove, with those excellent, harmonious an soulful vocals, quality 80's R&B, that I just recently discovered, better late than never, for sure...
My all time favourite...You brought tears of joy when I heard this one again almost two years ago. Once again THANK YOU!!! You are truly the best at what you do!!!!
classic track mate....playing next month in droylsden manchester 14th nov me tiny g alex badass mike stephens wadey mixture 80-90s rnb spread the word
Been looking hi an' lo for this classic! Takes me back to Harare and the 80's. Beautiful innocent times... Deluxe, Projection, Tashan... ahhhh Mixsensei, appreciations for this and all the others that you have posted...
Dear All, i've been looking for a song i heard in London around 1988/1989 both on radio and clubs , it was called " Intimacy " .. the band was called "symbol" although i understand it was not written or spelled the that way . Any clue ?
Big Ups to you man.... As we say in 9ja "Ol boy you do well". 1988 was a year when I was breaking ALL de rules and didnt have a care in the world.... I can still remember Grooving to those badass seamless DJ mixes back in the day - matter of fact I recently recycled one with this track in it. I been acquiring old skool funk mixes from various sources lately, You should check it out.
One Jam/video I am looking for also is "Sugarfree" by Juicy. The Video (if they have one ??

i've still got his album from 87/88. Spent long summers listenning to them in London.
Loved the way he was so understated. It made a change from some of the daft British Soul acts that were around at the time.
