  • wow, that is a awesome attack and yet.... I felt sorry that this FF haves to be very easy.

  • Ultimecia's Great Attractor: 2000-4000 damage depending on level, crushes party between four planets, which explode on top of them.

Tonberry King's Junk: Drops soccer balls and TV on the party's head, can deal upwards of 9000 damage.

    I love FF logic lol.

  • Final bosses do have the habit of blowing planets up without doing any serious damage. Yes , I'm looking at you Sephirot !

  • pfft, Comet destroys the whole damn solar system.

  • didnt knew she could do that, killed her fast :D

  • don't know whats more exhagerated the pulling and collision of the meteor and planets or the fact that they survived it

  • She had used more planets if Sephiroth hadn't destroyed them all with supernova... XD

  • sephiroth detroyed the planetes for no responsible reason and ultimecia threw them at you

  • Ouch! Those planets hurt, goddamm it!

  • At least the animation doesn't last a full 2 minutes...

  • didn't sephiroth already do this?

  • She should choose bigger planets...

  • cheap copy try from sephiroths supernova

  • @K1ngNoctisXIII not really.... cause she used a magic light string to attach to three planets and a astroid, than; to collide and attract themselfs on your party to be pressured by a massive collision. so on, Sephiroth called down a meteor that comes from a universe and which destroyed the whole solar system to hurt your party. finally, its not a "cheap copy" fan boy.

  • I remember nearly soiling myself once I saw this attack first being used on me. All that animation being used for one attack, I thought for sure it was some kind of instant game over.

  • I love the PC version of Final Fantasy games purley because people Mod the shit out of it to the point where you could get Cloud to throw Shit a Sephiroth in Final battle and it will kill him instantly XD

  • make a yarn bridge for that one. LOL

  • Irvine: AGH! I just got hit by that meteor!

    Squall: Walk it off, man!

  • @CheesyGranola LOL!

  • Awesome attack, but shouldn't the planets have been a lot bigger?

  • @LeviathanImpact That's what she said.

  • @CheesyGranola Who also said that?

  • @LeviathanImpact Nevermind. I was just being silly. XD

  • If griever is strong enough to push 2 planets in each hand he should just smash the fuck out of the party... if that makes any sense

  • And that's ultimecias hyper solarsystem attack version of Supernova, but she isn't in her final form.

Maybe her final form didn't have a Hyper move because there was no reality left...>.>

  • @o0Monsters0o why do you speak of sephiroth's attack and you say it as if its one of ultimecia moves?.... you should really look up on FFVIII sorceress background before you say something about the characters.

  • Wow, Macgyver can do better than that!

  • Comment removed

  • alll i could say was fuck

  • Awesome! its the Galaxian Explosion!!!

  • this attack does minimal damage even without protect but at least it look nice

  • When the ground is shaking, she can use this attack but it's a physic attack so not useful with Protect but careful, it can do 4000dmg if u not have xD (remember Apocalypse <<)

  • Wow, so the version of this attack in DIssidia was her creating a planet or something? I really don't see much of a connection between the 2 versions aside from her tossing what looks like a toy planet at you.

  • @Arsio12 good point and its strange how it doesn't have a electrical field; when you are charging the attack.

  • I remember this attack, it was cool at first, but got pretty tiresome seeing it many times. (I saw it a lot when I played)

But still, by just using magic, Squall, Irvine and Rinoa are able to withstand the might of three planets and an asteroid!!!!

  • You would think that having a few planets hit you would you know like KILL YOU!

  • Actualy I never upgraded any weapoon of any character. That makes the game much more challenging.

  • LOLOLOLOL

I played FFVII for years and its the first time i see this attack!!!! Probably because i killed Griever/Ultimecia very quick.

  • FFVIII (Three Is, not 2) but it doesn't matter, the keys on a keyboard really just make it too hard to always type it right the first time. {:D

  • Lol, I had a crazy thought watching Great Attractor... It looked as if Ultimecia was moving the planets away from Sephiroth Super Nova - trying to help the party, but then she had her own evil sceme and decided to finish of the party before his Super Nova could be fully performed.

Ah, the good ol' mind of a fanboy. We can all imagine, right? :D

  • it shud say

"not drawn to scale" wen the characters were on the same screen as the planets

  • LMAO raisin xD

  • The last part looks alot like IX's Grand Cross.

And I've never seen this move before either. even when i did the fight without any limit breaks, she still wouldn't get a chance to do it.

  • Ya know, Great Attractor is much more...resource friendly than Sephiroth's Supernova. All she has to due is find more planets, because you can only blow a star up once.

  • I think Shockwave Pulsar owns Great Attractor. This move never really did much to me.

  • wow 4 planets destroyed just to do 1000dmg

  • Protect

  • yeah i was well aware of that im just saying that the move was over exaggerated to do so little damage but it would have probably done like 5k or 3k but even so its still greatly over exaggerated

  • well when you think about it, those planets are pretty DARN SMALL! sheesh, the attacks from this game start to get kinda weird.

  • @kouyung 3 planets and a planetoid to be more precise.

  • @RenzokukenLionheart - i hope chuck norris can dodge that

  • @kouyung Well not that I am any FF7 fanboy, but I think it would only be fair to point out what happens with Sephiroth's supernova...

  • @kouyung In her defence they were planetoids rather then actual planets...

Not like Sephiroth who has to destroy the entire Solar System to do 1000 damage.

  • I saw this thing twice when I finished the game a few minutes ago.

I was safe though, because I had equipped everyone with Auto-Potion and only had X-Potions and Elixirs in the inventory, so they always restored all their HP, lol.

  • so im the only one who has seen this attack on the game? then again, i never managed to get lion heart, and with my disks screwed up i never will... iv been beating the boss with just items and magic, i never even unlocked the GF's or ability to save XD challenging and fun though.

  • I have been beaten this game ten times and have NEVER seen this until now. Lionheart is just way too effective...

  • I tried to convince my brother that I saw an attack from the boss, but he called me a liar for seven years. Today he found this and apologized.

  • This was the second time Ultimecia killed me, first was in Griever's Shockwave Pulsar, oh well >.>

  • reminds me of sephiroth's supernova attack lol

  • Sucks that I never saw the final bosses cool attacks when they died so quickly...

  • i've been playing ff8 for more than 10x now whenever i like to play it and i never seen this attack of junctioned ultimacia

  • Neither have i, i would beat Ulti. before she could even hit me with it.

  • XD WHOA.

  • all that for only 1000 damage .... it looked cool tho ..at least.

  • they are in Protect

  • @RudJohn

Fine, then 4 planets combined would do 2000 damage. That's an average of 500 damage per planet -.-

  • Lovely display! I never actually got to see it in-game.

  • I remember this, it killed me XD
