@Ferom79 oh yeah he did say that in the parking lot or somewhere else. I remember that movie when I was a kid. The hotel scene freaked me out with the eye removal and all that. But they still see with night vision so I think it wouldn't matter.

@Ferom79 they couldn't go out at day because of the HK's (hunter killers, the big flying robots). the world in salvation is slightly different from the original terminator movie because of minor alterations to the timeline throughout the series. and as you see in salvation hk's are still a bit of a problem

wow this is almost as boring as playing the game. Actually no it's more boring. It's badly written and terribly paced. Start with a big, shaky gun battle that goes on for too long, then spend 2 minutes spelling out the story just in case you don't already know it, then carry on with some convoluted story about Blair Williams (IMO one of the more uninteresting characters from Salvation) traipsing around trying to find a noisy Terminator? Awful.

@orientalgolem yeh and 360. The actual game (this machinima uses the game engine) is a bag of shit though. Clunky, drab, cover-shooter monotony. Like Gear of War with one-dimensional characters set in a world of invisible treacle.

Hopefully this will help everyone:

Machinima are animated films made using the same engines employ for cutscenes in video games. In this case its the same one they used to make the Terminator Salvation game. This isn't a big budget CGI cartoon like Final Fantasy, Toy Story, or TMNT. This was made by Halcyon or whoever was responsible for Salvation and I'm sure all they did was pay for the DVD release and arrange access to the engine with whatever company got the contract for the game.

just think of them as a smart tripod that can make microadjustments based on wind and gravity. they'd never miss a single shot because they could calculate all these things and have solid aim considering they're just solid metal
