I think it's funny how some people think Ben Kenney came in and started calling al lthe shots and changed the style of music. Dirk Lance was told to leave as he refused to evolve and wouldn't write his own basslines. Ben aided the band in the direction they wanted to go.

Dirk and Ben are both amazing at different things, Dirk is funky and aggressive where as Ben is much more melodic, smooth and much more versatile. There was a reason Dirk was told to leave the band.
