  • Imagine that power in an EG hatch. You'd be flying lol

  • He could've ran 10s flat if he had better reaction time

  • ive notice u guys have a 700 hp road monster package....man i bet that package can yield low 10's?

  • where in the states you guys located?

  • impressive :)

  • FYI 10k is probably what he has in the motor, not including his suspension setup.

  • all these people are talking about getting this kit blah blah blah, you know he's not running stock internals on that 24 lbs of boost. On top of the 4000 dollar turbo kit the time to tune it and your rods, pistons, exhaust, suspension, etc your looking at 10 k invested in the car. dont think your going to get your tax check and make your si run like that, unless you can tune it yourself or have access to a dyno.

  • nice!

  • Did he hit the speed limiter around 130 ish? because I heard the 8th gen Si's have governed speed at 135 mph, but there was a way to get around it?...

nice run though I love it

  • @newrosupcomingsi

Governer is removed after Flashpro is installed.

  • YouTube video ID - ke6-0-lo24w ( put after the v= )

  • unreal super fast car and great shifting from the driver

  • Sooo sick. Wish i had the money for a AJP turbo build on my FA5. :/

  • this is rather unrelated to this video but i know youll have the answer for me AJP.. i know somewhere on here ive seen all motor fg2's doing in the high 13's.. could you post the link so i can shut this n00b up plz

  • wow 10.97 with a delayed start, awesome car and driver.

  • @Vissor Thanks for the kind words. At this level, both the power and the driver skill are important.

The delayed start (reaction time) has nothing to do with the elapsed time. The clock starts when the car crosses the start line. He could have sat there for 5 minutes and still run a 10.97.

  • AJP .. stock tires? slicks? i cant tell from the video

  • @patrickDnugZ Slicks. Stock tires would never work.

  • nice

  • wow this is amazing!! i'm suprised tranny and axles didn't break how much hp is this civic? i know it got a built motor.. i was just wondering if i can order parts seprate and then when i have all the right parts, i take it over there and you guys install it it for me??

  • @XxFolksxX About 600 whp.

Yes, you can order the parts at whatever pace you want and then bring it to us for installation.

  • why are you sweating....you still have ac in your car

  • @md10holla It's obvious your reading skills are still pre-kindergarten. You wouldn't be asking that question if you saw what the track temperature was. It's clearly listed.

Here's a hint: it's right about Relative Humidity.

  • keep it up awsome

  • @shawncey2424 We're just getting warmed up.

  • how much is invested in that set up?? i have a 08 si sedan i want a turbo looks like ajp gots the best out there send me a message with turbo kit prices

  • @shawncey2424 Many tens of thousands of dollars. Please visit our website at ajperformance. com

  • stock 4.76 final drive?

  • @praetorian2150 Yes. Everything about the tranny is stock.

  • @ajperformancecom, amazing, glad to see the new vids, gives a ton of more credit to the product :)

  • see this is why ill always love a properly decked out si. so fast, so efficient and last forever.

  • nice job rob!

  • nice video..how much HP is this civic pushin?

  • @dct703 About 600 whp.

  • SICK HONDA!!!!!!!

  • God i think i just jizzed in my pants a little. Congrats on the time guys!

    Beastly!

  • hey ron, congrats on the pass man you guys finally did it! keep that 8th gen record safe!

  • Reaction time makes no difference on your ET. He could have sat there for 5 mins and still run the same time. The clock doesn't start ticking until you start moving.

    Impressive time, good job guys!

  • @xsrcivic Thanks for the comment - check out the timeslip stats in the video description.

  • @mohcivic i agree he looked very slow on the green. even half a second or more?

  • @mohcivic Not having to react instantly to the green light is a luxury the driver has for a practice run. It's one less thing to worry about.

For this run, he was not concerned about his reaction time, only his elapsed time.

Had this been a race, then he would have reacted instantly to the green light.

  • Looks like this will put to bed who makes the superior turbo kit for the 8th gen. I'm glad I own one of these kits. Where are all the non-believers now???

  • nice

  • Can't wait to see you guys crack 9. I also can't wait to get the kit as well :). Good job guys!
