I graduated from Copiague in 66 . I ran the mile and Cross Country. I went to Suffolk Community College for two years and then went to South Dakota. I live in Alaska now. The 60's were a great time to grow up on Long Island.
I lived in Copiague as a child. I went to Great Neck Road School for kindergarden thru 5th grade. We moved to Florida in 1968. I still occasionally talk to my best friend from those days.
wow, do u still live in copiague? were there as many people in copiague back in 64 then there is now? i could imagine how different it was back then. The only other place that i know of that has pictures hung up on the wall from the 60's is the Carvel ice cream store on montauk. lol hehehe
hahahaha .. no ... that was somebodies house ... the high school then ... is now what you know as the middle school on great neck road ... the football field and trak was in the back ... kind of where the football field is now ... hahaha .. yeah ... times have changed ... I think the class of 64 was the first 3rd or 4th class to go thru the entire copiague school system ... before that most every body got to the 9 grade and went to Amityville ... yeah ... times sure have changed ...
WOA! OLD PPL! this is kool...its awsome to see how everything was back then...i graduate 2011...have u seen the school recently at all? it probably changed a lot...
