  • How did your mother do on her surgery? I am 57 and thinking of this surgery for myself. I would be interested in how she did. Your experiences are very encouraging. Thanks for sharing.

  • I really am enjoying your post. I am planning on scheduling my surgery around the end of January 2012 so it is great to know what I can expect. I too am going to Mexico and I am about the same start weight as you were. It is all so scary. Thanks for posting and keep them coming. I'll bet I'm not the only one you are helping!.

    You look great!

  • Hello Tanya, I just had my surgery, and I am feeling great, no vomiting, no nausia, nothing that I can not handle it. But i do have fever 99.5-100.2. I wanted to know have you ever had light fever after the surgery? I was told during the leak I would be in severe pain, fever, vomiting. But this is not the case. just a fever, and I can handle it.

What was your experience, did you have fever?

  • you are too cute with your mickie d's ,cake and ribs...I can completely relate..my only question is at the point that you hit goal...what happens then if you can only eat x amout of calories...how do you stop losing ???

p.s. you look great already !

  • I am so pleased you spoke about the "Empty Feeling" as this is what I get,.. sometimes I don't know if I'm hungry or full... does that make sense to you when you look back at this? It's like you said,.. you have this feeling like it's air or your empty... it confuses my brain LoL

  • I love the way you talk, so honest .

  • 20 lbs down in 2 weeks. But the other two weeks you only lost 7 lbs. Something does not sound right.

  • @krbtv probably a lot of water at first.
