i started working for Disney in April of 2000 and when i heard that EP was coming back i almost fell over!!! I got to work there for 7 years and EP was the best thing i did there!!! Ah the audience just made everything worth while thank you eveyone!!! Your Elliot banners on the bridge asking to smoke down on you i loved!!! Yes it was me who was driving!!! Thank you fans you will never be forgotten!!! i opened the pardade as Dopey in the mine train hehe xoxo

its kind of awkward not seeing the blue fairy float at the beginning of the parade anymore they had to replace with the tinkerbell float. i hate the new sound track they have for the parade i miss the old one. this is the old soundtrack btw on the video.

As a child in the early 80's I had this small record and I'd play the "Parade" song over and over again. I really dig electronic dance today and after watching this vid I wonder if that's where I got my appreciation for synth sound and blinkimg laser beams.

I have been to DW but not DL. Just wondering why did they take the parade off Main Street and DL and put it in the Cal. Adventure. I would think it would sort of take away from the magic

The reason Disneyland took it off Main Street is because they wanted to make room for there "Remember, Dreams do Come True" fireworks display which they have mostly everynight at 9:25pm. So they moved it to Disney's California Adventure to have something to show to the audience since they didnt have fireworks or anything to show sometime around closing time!!!

I'm 41 and still love the parade, I am suprised they moved it to Disney's Calif Adventure.. they should have kept it on Main Street in Disneyland. As I got older I would use the time for the parade to get on the rides since most people would be watching and the lines were shorter...lol

I am 34 years old and have 5 kids! I cannot listen to the intro of this without crying! My sister went back there the last year of the "Main Street" parade (late '90's) and got the video. We played it at our wedding reception!  LOL

Treble, trust me when I say they had it when you were 6. I am 32 and I remember vividly watching this parade on Main Street. I just saw it this past Sat after at least 23 years. Wow was it awesome! Made me feel like a kid again. It is in California Adventure now.

I had so much fun a few years ago seeing it, and I was 27 years old. I never got to see it when I was 6 years old...not sure if they even had it back then. And as a musician, I always loved the song, how they did the talking with the music, and the fact that all the songs were the same key as the main song and fit with it so well.

I know what you mean. I still get chills hearing the opening speech......and I've owned the soundtrack for around 15 years. The one at WDW was replaced by the Spectromagic Parade, which has some amazing music as well, but the nostalgia of the original parade makes it a great experience.

I saw this in Orlando a few times.  It's spectacular in person. I remember I saw it on my 12th birthday and Alice in Wonderland asked the crowd if anyone was having a birthday.

Hong Kong was scheduled to recieve The WaltDisneyworld/Paris Main Street Electrical Parade Version in 2008 but they most likely will recieve at the begining of the 2008 off-season and run it in 2009.

I'm 23 the last time I saw the Main Street Parade when I was in Paris in 2006, I loved it when I seen it in the first time @ Euro Disney in 1992 aged 5, every year I've been with my family after that we stop & watch it in Discoveryland/Tomorrowland near the arcade and clap along with the stewards and hold up the glowing sticks and wave them (I don't care if I was 18 at the time I still love watching this parade its the highlight of the holiday)
