That critter cam looks like it would really impede the shark's ability to swim. A gigantic dong attached to its dorsal is the only way we can see what they see? We have cameras on our phones that are 100 times smaller than that huge phallic device, why can't we use that technology for the critter cam? How long does that thing stay on the shark?

@HBSanta That was my thought.They fgured out the critter cams placed on Emperor Penguins actually slowed them down and ended in the death of many penguins that had been tested on.. :( Critter Cams are fricken huge

I live in the Keys..we just heard there are Bullsharks in Key Colony..sightings this month by Sparky's Landing Restaurant/Bar ..which is around the bend from me!!.. .please come down and investigate..i refuse to go kayaking,much less go in the water anymore....i'm TERRIFIED..i always thought they were out in the open ocean!

@TheKaijinzero con'td. When we enter the water we have to relize that is their home. We must follow their rules. If you do spot one, swim in a set time. 1,2,3,4, 1,2,3,4 1,2,3,4. Panicing signals that their is a weak fish and a shark wold rather put up less of a fight for food then risk being injured. If you respect them and the rules, then their should be no problem. (sorry for the spelling mistakes)

1. Don't dive at dusk or dawn (feeding) 2. Murky water is a no: they can't see and are curious 3. Dont were jewlery: shine resembes a fishes scales 4. Don't dive with Sea birds: They hunt fish that sharks eat

Shark also follow a society rule, showing dominence generally ex. with 2 sharks 1 is more dominate and will show that with agression. The other is free to live there but must follow the rules inplace.

Bull sharks move in herds, and therefore attack in numbers. We've had dangerous attacks here in, some resulting in fatality. They take off arms and legs within seconds. We are finding them in upstream in the Noosa river, in increasing numbers. Not much is known about them, comparatively.
