I've just got confirmation that the Miami Horns are returning to Bruce and his E Street Band. I think it's going be deja vu all over again. I'd expect this song to be played at virtually every concert that they go to.
@jnadle1 There will be horns on this tour but they are not the same Miami Horns from 1988. LaBamba and Pender are on Conan and unavailable. Ed Manion, who toured with Bruce in 1988, will be a part of the new horns section. Curt Ramm, who toured with Bruce during the last leg in 2009, is also a part of it as well as Jake Clemons (Clarence's nephew).
I don't see the real passion like his peak from 1975-1985. He sold out and lost his soul from 1988-1997. This isn't real E-Street music. At least he came back to his roots since 1998. Miami Steve even stayed away.
Bruce as talented as he is , is ironically a communist, who would destroy the system that made him who he is, and who he rails against in this song...A sad man.

Now I know what they mean when they say that Bruce sold himself out in the 80s (after Born in the USA) - he was much cooler and genuine in the 70s.
skippbitman 1 year ago
@skippbitman I agree, he lost me after born in the USA too,but the old stuff is as good as it gets, it still lives.

If Frank Sinatra had biceps, was born a couple decades later, and had song writing ability; he would have been Bruce Springsteen.

well I think Keef is actually a capitalist
They are so tourtured /guilt ridden that if they are talented they become musicians/poets etc
If not as talented, politicians
