"Sweat great idea" for you would be to learn some proper grammar. Not every one can sit and drink hot chocolate. Work and school are important. The lot should of been cleared, but the parking lot manangers failed to do their job.
I disagree with other here who've said the driver of the jeep was the main reason it couldn't get out . . .while he may have been partly to blame, c'mon- all FOUR wheels were turning! Jeeps a piece of shit, plain and simple. I got a puny PT Cruiser out of worse, lmao!
@sk8erboy5003 There were multiple factors: driver, vehicle, and snow conditions all played into effect. What you dont see is the sheet of ice that is under the fresh snow. That was the main reason people were having problems. Any vehicle you floor it, on ice, will spin the tires. - I'd like to see you get your PT out of 12"-24" of snow.
@thomasp1717 Like mentioned in previous comments throughout these videos, I am not talking at any point in the video(s). There were about 5 of us jammed in a corner to watch the idiots. All I did was focus on filming.
Actually, even though you are right (about manuevering) this Jeep is 4WD/AWD. If watch closely at part, you can see where it kicks in. 2:25, 2:40, 2:53 are all good examples.
In the earliest part of the video, the Jeep was not in 4WD: you can see the rears spinning with no action from the fronts.
In a situation like this you want to turn as little as possible until you're out in the aisle. Then, you probably have to do a 5+ part turn to gradually get facing down the aisle. Trying to turn a lot and go through deep snow is too much resistance to your vehicle. That's part of why people get stuck: they ask more of their car than it can deliver.
Wow. Can't they use the shovel? I once accident went into ditch from out of control (too icy), and try get most snow out as possible, but it hard to get my car out, until someone came to help me.
@DrivingandDashcam They did not appear to have shovels, and many in the area did not expect that much snow. At the point in the video this parking lot was being cleared at that moment (note the tractor helping them towards the end). The lot had not been attempted to be cleared or shoveled resulting in these 6 rather entaining videos :)

Why don't they use a hardware, or a tool, for a car in the snow. Using tools is what Homo Sapiens is all about, is not it ?

@noskidable Read through previous comments. Already answered this.

I totally understand that, I live in north of Canada. We often get snow and icy road condition.
