Imo, Gladiator skill chains and skill effects look the most appealing out of all other class' skill effects I have seen tbh with the spinning skill with multiple attack (don't know the name). It makes me want to make a Gladiator. I see all melee classes (except assasin) have a massive disadvantage over Sorcerers and Spirit masters they have barely any skills to make them get in range. By watching other vids, it seems like Glads are completely useless against Templars (this was @ lvl 45)

WoW is a great game With alot of features for all kinds of gamers, but its doWnfall has been the unbalance of all classes (not an old issue) but more than ever at the moment. I'm a raid leader in the game and i tell u, i get frustrated sometimes, ppl dont put the effort that Was seen in TBC or before. PPL can get tier from running heroics...WTF is that? Blizz didn't kill the game, is the noobs that input all theses stupid reuests and make the game too simplistic. U'll see me in AION soon.
i got the same problem atm. there making the game way to easy. and it has to been said: noobs are taking over. seems like blizzard only cares about their money. the best players left already, but for each good player leaving they get 10noobs right back.

I asked every WoW player I knew and they all never heard of Aion, probably because they are stuck in WoW for 24/7 and don't update theirselves with incomming MMORPG. I think it's just a matter of time.

I would be amazed if this game breaks even 300k players in america. Its pretty lame actually. No good top level things to do and the gameplay when you get close to max level is boring. Also the views of this game on most websites including gamespot and so on havent even broke 100k. Also my brohter works for the gamestop/eb and they only have 50k preorders so far in the us, doesnt look good atm. Wow had over 2 mill preorders whe it dirst came out.

I gave it 2 months LOL, i couldn't get over the crapyness of the graphics :P well compared to Lord Of The RIngs Online which i;m still playing after 2 yrs (2 accounts 3 max level character classes, 9 characters all up)
This does just look like WOW with a makeover but saying that most Fantasy style MMO's are the same in overall gameplay and many share the same graphics style

of course its a pa per month, the game is going to be amazing and probably compete for the second most popular MMO behind WoW, I doubt it will topple WoW like some ppl are saying but it will at least work its way up to completing with it.

Coming from someone who still plays WoW ik a lot of people that are definatly opening their eyes to this game. It may not be a WoW *killer* but it will definatly be a competor. This game has 4 million subscribers in Korea/China alone. Japan's, Europes, and NA still needs to be released. This game will be succesful (alrdy is) but of course not to the standard of WoW.
Yeah, I never said I didn't think it would do well. I'm sure it will be a successful game and last for quite a while with good populations; I'm just tired of hearing people call every new game that comes out a "WoW killer". Nothing will be a WoW killer. WoW was an anomaly. It was an isolated incident and Blizzard just came out with a great product at the right time and things fell into place just right. You CAN make your character ugly, you can make it whatever you want to be - Aion has an extensive creation system. EVERY PLAYER IS UNIQUE! that's the beauty of it. You can even customise your clothes colours too.

Aion is such a bad game.
Takes forever to kill a monster ure own level, and dont even try kill higher level mobs without godly gear.
Excessive PK by ppl with botted equipment and endless amount of grinding.
So bring healing with u cuz u'll be healing between every mob u kill.

Wrong. Wow had nothing when it was released.
Only several months after it was released, Molten Core came out, and several other raid instances.

of course its a pa per month, the game is going to be amazing and probably compete for the second most popular MMO behind WoW, I doubt it will topple WoW like some ppl are saying but it will at least work its way up to completing with it.

Sorry, but you're out of your mind if you think some ncsoft Korean MMO can even come close to competing with WoW. I don't even like WoW, I pay Darkfall, but get your head out of the clouds dude. This game will hold about 300k US subscribers max, and that's being generous. WoW has what, like 11 million? lol

Coming from someone who still plays WoW ik a lot of people that are definatly opening their eyes to this game. It may not be a WoW *killer* but it will definatly be a competor. This game has 4 million subscribers in Korea/China alone. Japan's, Europes, and NA still needs to be released. This game will be succesful (alrdy is) but of course not to the standard of WoW.

Yeah, I never said I didn't think it would do well. I'm sure it will be a successful game and last for quite a while with good populations; I'm just tired of hearing people call every new game that comes out a "WoW killer". Nothing will be a WoW killer. WoW was an anomaly. It was an isolated incident and Blizzard just came out with a great product at the right time and things fell into place just right. I don't even think Blizzard can top their own WoW sales.

guys u all gotta remeber that wow had 12million players after being out for 4years so if aion has 4million in korea/china in its first year i think there is going to be big competition for blizzard and i love wow so theres a wow players view on it

in my guess... they're probably going to do it like alot of mmo's which is those 2 days - 1 week cards etc. where you play for trying it out. and the payment is going to be mastercard/debit/visa blah blah blah and it's 14.99 per month.
only reason why i think this is cause i used to do it for FFXI and WoW. so yea.. just guessing >.>

They specifically made it where there would be enough quests where there would be no grinding. That was a huge influence from the beginning

You CAN make your character ugly, you can make it whatever you want to be - Aion has an extensive creation system. EVERY PLAYER IS UNIQUE! that's the beauty of it. You can even customise your clothes colours too.
