I have the LUMIX DMC-FS7 model and face the same "jittery" problem in WVGA mode - seems Canon stabilization system is much more effective. The Canon SD780/SD940 both shoot much better HD video. Just my 2 cents....

@btuyn I almost bought a Canon but you cant use the optical zoom while shooting video and that was the deal breaker for me. Just my 10¢
