I have never witnessed such a woeful attempt at driving a DC2, for fuck sake use the gears and as can be seen from the few attempts you make at using them you are slow as a wet week on the clutch pedal and hand action. Also your braking and line entry and throttle control is no existent. Horrendous overall!

@chiefbag Also as I remember the clutch was on the way out on this trip so I was nursing it.

Superb run anarky. The car wont go round the track much faster than that despite some of these comments. This last mug surely knows the more gradual the turn (ie best racing line) the better. Just a thought. I eagerly await a much better attempt from our back seat critics...

It's a bit unfair but if you care to look at my other Videos I have done an 8.44 in normal style. This is also the only track I have driven thoe I'm on my 70 odd lap now. The flying start would have only given me 10 seconds at the most as I would normally be doing 70/80 under the bridge anyway and was probably doing around 110 on the flyer.

2. 08:45 lap time is done in cars like the Honda S2000, Lotus Exige by an experienced driver who knows the track very well (see wikipedia lap times). So, good luck in your shitty Volvo

you should accelerate more into the corners!...those cars grip like a motherfucker so really grab the feel of the car, some of the line u took was a bit tight u will get faster times obviously...other than that, nice car ive got one of these to, and good driving keep it up mate :)

Thanks for the comment but at the time I was driving to the limit of those tyres. My BTG now is 8.44 I would also say that my lines are correct for the Ring.

learn how to heel & toe ... that will give the drive a better flow, prevent the tranny from damage and avoids shift locks.

I was on the throttle a couple of seconds to long, I think gave the car to much speed to scrub off... locked up. Always room to improve + enjoy the track!
