American Toads Eat Mice

My toad stole food right out of my turtle's mouth before and I have it on tape.

But MICE? Trevor has eaten a lizards, other toads, frogs, and about any kind of insect but she would not react so kindly to being picked up. Your toads are very fascinating!

toads will eat small mice,worms,moths,ants,dragon flies,small tomato worms and flies.thats some of the foods they eat

a bite from a toad of that size can't hurt you anyways. Even if they did get a finger all the way in their mouth they'll just spit it out. You need to watch the african bullfrog and pacman frog though, they have something like teeth and will cut skin.

me & my brother & sister have 12 toads. they're soooo cute & tame! they're names are: Queen Fat, Bouncy Betty, Naughty Billie, King Kong, Pooey Pete, Big Brude, Clumsy Joe, Goofy Gordon, Stinky Stanley, Long Breath, Fermented Foothead, & Little Spot. they're kinda weird names but oh well. we feed our toads earthworms, moths, grubs, ants, & beetles. we're gonna hibernate them this winter. lol

kk my tadpoles turned into toads a few days ago...... I bought flyless fruitflies but they won even eat them.....WHAT SHOULD I FEED THEM HELP

how often do you have to feed them a meal that big? i have 3 american toad tadpoles that are just starting to sprout their back legs. i feed them an inch piece of dried seaweed and newborn fish food powder every other day or so. they grow like CRAZY! they're so cute. i can't wait til they turn into little toadlets. :)
