Well I can't speak for others but I certainly wouldn't deny that. In fact, I'm not sure if I accept every... tenet, if you will... of global warming, but I think it's incontrovertible that humans can irreparably affect their environment--just look at what DDT did in the 70s (for more information about that, I recommend reading the book Silent Spring by Rachel Carson).

What is absurd, is that people think CO2 is the cause.

CO2 is not the problem, industry's bad pollution is, which includes MANY more elements and chemicals than CO2.

In defense of those who have known about global warming more than 25 years; 1 volcano is causing damage equal to about 1,000 factories (or 10,000 cars) and VOLCANOES HAVE INCREASED over the past 50 years (now more than 40.)
