i had a 5hp briggs on mine with no govenor it would get up to 70 when i had the small sprocket on it needless to say i don't have the 5hp any more KABOOM

yes install a tune pipe and u'll achieve more hp out of that motor!

hey how much horse power do those engines have. and what would be a good amount of hp for my kart to go atleast 50mph?

find a pipe for it, a tuned expansion chamber pipe and pick up about 50% more power. might be able to adapt a pipe from a 100-125 two stroke dirt bike.
