  • This video was fake. This was made in some studio as the camera was behind flame-proof glass. and besides how can a tree really catch fire like that. that was kind of unrealistic

  • ha im a firefighter just did my first burn in class, and its crazy in there when it starts rollin

  • why do the show the leg lamp from a Christmas Story.

  • Fire doubles in intensity every 17 seconds, flashover at end of video, you wouldn't have a chance in this apartment.

  • No accelerant needed. I fought tons of wildfires and have almost been trapped by pine trees that almost explode when they catch on fire. We fight hard to keep it from reaching the pines once it's there, we evacuate back and regroup after they have burned off.

  • BULLSHIT. This fire is A) accelerated with flammable gas and B) fanned through the silver conduit in the middle of the floor. Halfway moist evergreens do NOT burn like that.

  • @SansAuthoritas

    A) On the contrary, it was not accelerated with a gas. The tree was lit by an open flame that was intentionally sparked and was let to naturally spread with available fuel - "fuel," as in sofas, walls, carpet, wood, tables, etc.

    B) You are correct in that halfway moist evergreens do not burn that quickly and violently. However, this was to demonstrate the danger of a DRIED OUT evergreen, which is why the tree burned so quickly

  • You just f'd up Christmas for me....Thanks!

  • Yah thats about right.... 0:05 your Fucked get out of the house... 0:30 the couch is melting so... thats about 500 Degrees Easy!!

  • What a good quality couches...lol!

  • It was like sssss..... SSSSSSSSSSSS O.O

  • I FOUND OUT THAT SANTA IS ACTUALLY A HOBO XD HE STALKS GIRLS AND STEALS THEIR BRAWS XD

  • The reason Christmas trees are so flammable is because they are pine trees. The sap from pine trees is extremely flammable and burns hot. The sap burns fast and can spread quickly.

Best thing to do is follow what the video says and/or consider an artificial tree. I am no tree hugger, but safety is important too.

  • this is defenitly making me reconsider buying a natural tree... beauty and lovely scent for that kind of risk and worry? i dont think it is worth it.

    Thanks for the video :)

  • Hahah this is hysterical! (well not if it happened to any of you, sorry) but I have a real fir tree and we light 33 candles on it and it's never burned down in all the 59 years I've done it. Except on year year when we decided to put electric lights on. The tree began to burn, and we threw it out onto the snow below our balcony!!! Oh the irony!! Haha
