Japanese people are so cute. lol My cousin owned one of these 80's Subies... it was a black coupe, with the same rims(they look like 1st gen Mazda RX7 rims). I owned the next gen..... an 85 RX Turbo AWD sedan. Great cars and fun, too... but parts are very expensive. I paid $400 for an air flow meter, and that was back in '95.
Good to see he's hosing the car down after driving on the beach lol - as for the car itself, I recall one version at the time of the Leone where Subaru were trying to rival the Audi Quattro - by utilizing 4wd and a turbo option (it encouraged them, as they have done it ever since)...
