Any advice for investing in Stocks on ASX ?

Very interesting compared to investing in property. Buying property I consult a conveyancer,proceed the contract of sale of land,then get inspections,then finance,exchange contracts followed by a cooling off period, then payment of deposit,stamp duty,council rates,levies, pre-settlement , then settlement, after settlement,find tenants to lease out. Having done research on high growth area with high rental demand the purchase price of the property can double under the nation property cycle.
