@scarface1224md I have just checked it out, and it costs the same (100$+-), the specs are less then the Alienware, but u know what, if your HP garbage makes u feel good man so i am happy for you. And about the mac quality, Nah... i have a HP laptop and they fall apart after a year or so... so even if the m15x is 100$ more expensive, at least it don't go bad after a year... ho and Alienware looks far better... and that brings one question, you mad bro?

@levitasetan The HP Envy 17 isnt made like any other HP laptop you have. Its a full titanium chassis, and the construction is wayy different than any other HP laptop. So theres some facts for you. Second the HP Envy comes with a Radeon 6850m not a 5850m. So asagain, theres another fact. You saying the Alienware looks far better is an Opinion. I dont care for opinions when someone tryies to prove a point. Both are great laptops, and the specs are very similar. LEDS dont make it perform better.lol

I wasnt referring to the LED screen because the Envy has an LED screen as well. So $1100 compared to $2000, same cpu, same gpu, same RAM, same HDD, 17 inch versus a 15, all at half the price. You do the math. Alienware is overpriced for people who cant build thier own pcs. Everyone knows this

Alienware aren't that expensive, you can get an m15x with i7, ssd, ati 5850,and 9 cell battery. For around 1600. Asus' are actually not that much cheaper maybe 50 bucks cheaper or so.

Alienware are over rated laptop and 2 to 3 times more expensive just for that. Screw alienware and their ridiculous prices, get an Asus G73, i run the capture software at 60FPS and dont see a single lagged frame playing any game. It also has 2 times more memory and a much better graphics card.

For the price under 2000$, NOTHING beats an Asus G73

@TheCursedTalent For 1400 I built a PC that has a blu ray drive, ATI HD 5770, 6gb of ram, quadcore amd processor clocks naturally at 3.4 Ghz, Why would I spend 1600 on a Laptop with a slightly better graphics card. I have no problem to upgrade when I want to. I would like all the color features of an alienware which I can get by buying other parts so really no reason to have an alienware unless you have money and care more for a name then you do about hardware.

@BoNeS487 I have fixed my problem! The first thing you should do is make sure there's no dust build-up in your fans or more importantly on the heatsink next to the fan(s). If that doesn't work, it might be a power management issue ("stealth mode", busted AC adapter [common problem], battery, power settings, etc.) I also updated my bios to A06 from the stock A02 and that made it run slightly better as well. Good luck. When this machine performs at full potential it's very capable.
