In the UK many of the TC-12's particularly the Blackwood Hodge ones where my dad worked had twin Cummins NT310's built at the Cummins plant at Shotts Lanarkshire which built engines for the Euclid plants in Motherwell and Newhouse Scotland.
As a kid these monsters were awe inspiring and now almost 50 years on I still get an incredible buzz out of seeing a Euc.
The Euclid TC-12 is not two C6 crawlers put together. The TC-12 from the onset was designed as a twin engine split frame machine. The first TC-12 prototype started its engineering evaluation in July 1954 with the production model being introduced October 1956. The C6 started its testing schedule in May 1955 with the first production models hitting the dirt in 1958.
They're side by side. If I recall correctly, each engine powers one track with separate transmissions, allowing for the skid steering seen here. The two halves actually rock independently of each other.
The TC 12 is made of 2 C6 bulldozers. One left track removerd off one and a right track off the other one. Join them together and put a big blade on it.
Whats better than a detroit diesel? TWO detroit diesel's! lol

This is only 380bhp, about equal with a D9N, D11 is 945hp & Komatsu 575 is 1140hp.

Just curious if this needs to be taken apart to be transported or can it just fit on a standard lowboy? That thing is huge!

LOL - The only dozer that can turn diesel into noise and oil leaks, and drive the operator insane in a week!
