  • looks like a fun project. i really want a tube tv tv to work on at school, but i just cant find one in a restorable condition....

  • @popdrummomcorn1972 Keep your eyes out at thrift stores, flea markets, swap meets, estate sales, and on craigslist. If you really want to get into this stuff consider purchasing some good test equipment - especially a tube tester, crt tester (like a beltron), ESR, VOM or VTVM, and DMM. Life saving basic equipment to really troubleshoot and repair this great stuff! You'll find something eventually.
