I gave him a chance and listened to his work and he really is a great guitarist, he keeps the blues guitar playing alive. His influences are the greatest guitarists ever and he knows what they're about and you can see that in his music. Look at his life story, he played in blues bars until he got picked up by the record company who told him to make his music more popular to the masses, in 2006 he went back to blues, making it a big boom with the concert live in LA

I wish John would play more funk and blues instead of a lot of the crap he does. he's a great player and has one hell of a good voice. he could really stamp history like Clapton did, and other greats. when I saw him play on the Clapton Fest. it really blew me away. I also seen a you tube video of him playing with Clapton doing Crossroads
and I felt he out played him. he seems like one hell of a good guy though.
