No you can get special items in first place just only certain items.

Nope, that doesn´t matter, special items work as normal ones, being "special" just because only certain characters can get them, so, for example, the giant banana only appears on 1st, 2nd and maybe 3rd of 4th places, even if it´s only a DK and Diddy special

This is How I My capture Gameplay Footage you need: A VCR to Connect the PS2,Wii ect in the RF Ouput or in the Video2 Cables output, then you will need the USB 2.0 Capture Box and connect it in the Video Out Output and Ulead Studio 7 DVD to record the Footage that is Connected in the Capture Box and then it turns into a file.
