  • I almost tossed my lap top out the window watching this due to the lagging for only this video

  • Adhd doesn't go away coz you get older....... Hahaha it sux :(

  • I would say to anyone who is thinking about attending the Maudsley Adult ADHD clinic to avoid it like the plauge, now don`t get me wrong i know how it feels when you are desperate for some help with this condition, however, there is wide agreement amongst sufferers in London that what is offered there is entirely unfit for purpose that does more harm than good.

  • Thankyou for posting this, it is of absolute vital importance the we the suffers and support groups of this come together as a larger group to take ownership of our condition and also how it is viewed by wider society and how funding is allocated. I think it is time for some kind of national conference.

  • It is reality because it don ever go away you born with it and we die with it its to to with receptor and other stuff in the brain but yes lots people get on with there lives and are fine and most people don't know you got it till you tell them but it don't mean its not there we just learn how to deal with it. well some times depends on the circumstances its different for different people

  • I should see a doctor- I realised I stopped paying attention to the video and was scanning the comments more often than not...

  • nice nikes!

  • Bloody hell!! Enough shots of the poor womens fidgeting, please!! Like we fucking get it yeah?? idiots.

  • What the fuck is he doing with his forehead?! That distracts me.. o_o

  • a.d.d. is not really about hyperactivity, its mostly about how far ur head can stay focused, some people just get bored but thats ok, me in the other hand forget what i was talking about like 2 minutes ago, often more i ask the person what was i talking about 15 seconds ago because when i tlak with someone i usually keep changing subjects because i find it hard remaining in one subject, and i work in a place i have to remember things, and i usually forget what i was supposed to do..

  • It’s all about minerals and essentials amino acids deficiencies. It doesn’t appear in ordinary blood tests. It appears in a costly hair analyses test.Usually zinc and magnesium and Bs are deficient.

    From Saudi Arabia

  • @BadrKSA2012 Incorrect, unless you're claiming that amino acids are the cause for a particular brain pathway to be smaller than average, with the resulting inability to process common neurotransmitters inducing the disorder. In any case, restoring those will do absolutely nothing, for the damage is already done.

  • I’m not MD I just happen to be a clever person (I guess)I have been reading in psychiatry for ten years and trust me I know way better thenlots of psychiatrists “ADHD is types of brains, smartness “is the key word.Strange behaviors in childhood followed by addictive behaviors later on in life.

  • I have all those symptoms and saw the doctor a few years ago about having ADHD, but he said I can't have ADHD as I am in my 20s and was not diagnosed as a child. My cousin is still in highschool and has been diagnosed recently, so I am happy for him. I know I can't take the medication without diagnosis and I can't go private as I don't earn enough. But I would like to follow whatever advice cousellors give to people with ADHD and try to help myself. Where can I go to get this information?

  • Alright so heres the thing...

First of all, i'm like 16...I was pretty much born with ADHD and i was hyper i was nuts i was a crazy little boy with nothing to do. I've matured out of it mostly...I saw mostly because instead of just fidgeting anymore...i sing. Yeah...It seems the hyperactivity has gone to just having the urge to sing, i always have a song in my head and i feel like "crap got to sing it got to sing it" I've sung in class randomly...i mean it's kind of funny but during a test no.

  • i'm 20 and god damn it is hell to live with. symptoms do change but not alwas for the better obviously hense being called symptoms haha i study my ass off in college and still!!!! more times than not it still doesn't pay off and you may say cuz i don't study eough but you(reader)(s) are NOT in my shoes i know how hard i try and try no saying it's all the tme but like i said. it is HELL to live and deal/control/fuck with hah but i can and will manage if i don't get into what i wanna do then fuck!

  • lulz cant concentrate on this video...going to get something to drink then come back pause it...play video games...go pee...play the video again...learn touch typing and so on

  • thanks for the video my friends have said i have had it for years just starting to think i might . it all ties in with my life so far .......

  • I was diagnosed with adhd at 56. I looked back at many events and it is so clear. I also looked at my report cards from grade 1 to 7 and again so clear.

I dealt with it well I was told by my psychologist, after many wrong diagnosis

    G

  • I got extreme adhd and im a adult, im considered dangerous to society without Ritalin because i have no impulse control and i show anti social beheviour as well not on medication.

  • shes got like 20 different accents at once

  • Many people are feed by the media, which say adhd belongs to single parents, many are single parents as the pressure of bring up a child with a disability like adhd and many also have a dual diagnosis, which makes it more complex, My son was diagnosed with ADHD/Aspergers, yes I am a single parent as my relationship broke down with the pressure, I have also have run a support group for the last ten years since my son was diagnosed

  • children cannot be diagnosed by the school doctor, so thats a load of rubbish, it takes months to get a diagnosis, to be diagnosed the child has to have problems in three settings, which is normally school, home, and social settings,(outside Play), forms are sent out to school and and home and they have to the same or no diagnosis is giving, if they school dont agree with the parents, diagnosis is not given, This procedure can takes months, it dont happen with one knock on the door to the doc

  • i still dont think anyone with adhd should be on any pills, especially children.most kids are hyperactive because kids have lots of energy, half these adhd kids just need better parents,im not saying thats all cases but ive personally seen a case where a single mother has no control over any of her kids has a boy who is very active and who was diagnosed with adhd by his school docter ,to me this kid was just smart he realized he never was held ecountable for his actions so he did what he pleased

  • ADHD is not an illness its just a lable for sommone who learns in a different way than the government wants to teach them. I have adhd i learn in a visual and kensthetic way but school only teach in an auditorial way. btw im 14

  • Just because people have only just heard of it in recent years doesn't mean it's new lmao.

First ADHD paper was over 150 years ago.

I have ADHD too btw, am 19.

  • yea im 19 too i think i have it too. i think its been around forever its just actualy a problem now because almost all jobs in western civilization require us to be focused on dull things for hours at a time.

  • I remember talking to you a year ago when you were talking about making this, so its good to see the final video! Hope you are doing OK.

  • Thank you, Constanze Kosters and crew, for making this important contribution to ADHD Awareness worldwide. Well done!
