  • thank you so much :-), i want to ask you about the 10 keys left for presets, does it work also ?? regards ... Fady!!

  • You can tell that Hammond has been gigged with! Mine actually looked WORSE although mine also had the telltale "duct-taped" Leslie rotor switch too!

  • wow! your good, most people that talk about hammond organs just assumes that every one have got one or can afford one. thanks for the tutorial.

  • Yesss!!

  • It sounds good even though it's not a pipe organ. By the way are you a christian? if so could you please help me out with something?

  • A lot of key info very quickly. What a tutorial should be.

  • hammond organ has stops

  • hammond organ drawbars

  • That is a rough but good sounding hammond organ! I play a hammond in church but I don't have the percussion but would love to have it. Is there a way to add it? Everything I know I have learned by trial and error and time. I love your videos. just found them.

  • Very helpful video.. That organ looks like its been around the block a few times!! But thanks for the tutorial and tips. Keep it up!

  • It should be a crime to let a Hammond organ get in that bad of condition. Everyone who owns a hammond should take pride in the way it looks and operates. The Hammond Organ is the Rolls Royce of instruments and should be treated like a Rolls, not a dodge neon. Other than playing a Hammond in the worst possible condition, nice video.

  • Than the reverse preset keys, I would prefer preset pistons in between the keyboard, as it makes easy with out removing your hands from the keyboards while playing. I had never like the older tone wheel organs, as such organs are limited to just tone wheel drawbar sounds. I want more, as I would play on a Wersi organ, or Lowrey organ as hundreds of digital sounds are available, along with programable preset pistons.

  • I learned a lot from your video. I recently purchased an XK-3 and would like to learn more about settings and how to use it to its full potential, thanks.

  • Me carga otro que puro hablar hace quiero oir ese organo....

  • Is that a B3 model Hammond? I noticed it was open behind the volume pedal, but the manual area looks like an A-100 like mine. Thanks for posting these great registration tips!

  • Your Organ looks a little beat up dude. you proably need a new casing

  • Excellent tutorial dude ... great advice cheers

  • it's fine but i quit it because my stomach gets mad caused by the panning. stop it stop it, it's semms not professional, sorry. without it, i'd find it better

  • Nice tutorial, but please stop pan the camera all the time..

  • wow i have some organ

  • Thanks for the excellent introduction to drawbars.

I'm a huge fan of your work with Paul deLay. Paul was one of the few great innovators in the harmonica and blues world in the past 50 years.

In addition to playing harmonica with Teeny Tucker, I'm now playing keyboards, so I want to develop some reasonable understanding of driving a B3. This is a good start. Thanks.

  • Thanks, just got a B-3 emulator, so this helped a lot as a novice :-)
