half life 2 is overrated, i found the puzzles to be annoying and distracted from the gameplay, i also thought the car missions were annoying and not very fun, the gunplay was also kinda bland. i would give this game a 7

Have you tried patching it? If that doesn't work try just turning the graphics to minimum, that's all I can think of.

I don't pay too much attention to controls on games, because I don't really have a consul, but I Definatly know what you mean, and I just heard my friend talking about how he was playing COD4 and started playing some other game and was also getting messed up with the controls, which brings me to believe it's just COD controls that are weird haha. I was just thinking of the first time I played COD4 I think I was confused with those controls. I guess they take getting used to but are real good.

That happened to me, too! I played COD4 for 5 months and went back to HL2 and it was so difficult. I'm still having problems getting used to the controls. But when I go back to COD4, it feels so good!
